I saw that you said a unicorn wasn't a horse; how about a flying horse?
If not, would it be acceptable for Option 2. While I haven't read the book yet, since it's the last in the series I assume there is a cleansing and moving on for Percy. (Maybe someone who's read it can chime in.)
For the other book, I was able to get my hands on a 7-day copy of Deadlocked, which will work for Romance or Yin and Yang since there are 327 pages in the book.
Thanks!

Would In This House of Brede work for Option 1? The main character leaves her socialite life in London to become a postulate in a convent.
Book Description:
This extraordinarily sensitive and insightful portrait of religious life centers on Philippa Talbot, a highly successful professional woman who leaves her life among the London elite to join a cloistered Benedictine community.
I'm using

Thanks

Since it looks as if Beth may be unable to get online, I'm going to answer this one.
It's still a horse, even though it can fly. Since mythical animals are otherwise allowed in the task, I'm going to accept the flying horse. Please be sure to note in your post that it was approved in the help thread.

This sounds as if it would work for option 2, since she's "letting go" of her professional/socialite life and taking up a new life in the convent.

Looks like both the hardback and the first paperback edition listed have page numbers ending in 6 or 7 as well, so you're okay with this one. When you post your task, please note that I ok'd this in the help thread.

Will this cover work for a horse?
It works, it also features a horse so doesn't matter if one is on the cover
