This book was unlike any I've read before, (in a good way!) The approach the author took regarding the main characters' development gave you an interesting parallel glimpse into their decisions and how those decisions affected their lives, ultimately leading to their meeting and that's when the suspense begins. It really doesn't let up from then on and offers a timely possibility of an ultimate plan for the world.
Many times during the reading of this book I found myself thinking about my decisions in life, very much like the characters. The inner voices of good and evil are cleverly woven thru the story reminding the reader of the constant struggle we all undergo in our daily lives regarding following God's will as well as the power of their influence on our actions.

I've put Absolom Rex, and The Darkwater Adventurers Guild, Vol 1: Apprentice up for free, so feel free to share it amongst yourselves. Absolom Rex is a Historical Fiction/Horror crossover with a main character just about everyone will recognize. Fictionalized accounts straight out of Suetonius and Josephus are intertwined with a subtle and dark subplot that gradually builds to the forefront of the narrative.
