Drew Ian wrote: "btw she's making a sixth book it's coming out on Jan.14,15 around that"

Where did you hear that? Can you give me a link? Because on Goodreads the summary of Gregor and the Code of Claw begins "The stunning conclusion to the riveting Gregor the Overlander series." Conclusion. And I checked Wikipedia and it said "Suzanne Collins has announced no plans for a sixth book to be written." I'm pretty sure the series is over, which is why I disliked the ending so much. That's like saying there's going to be a fourth Hunger Games book.

And just to clarify, I LOVED the book; it was one of my favorite in the series—I just didn't like the ending.

Ian I don't have the link yet but when I get it from my friend I'll send it to u

message 104: by Ian (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ian Yea it's called "Gregor and the prophecy of the fire pit." from what I heard well ya know how Ares died well they bring him back cause us have to throw two dead things to bring back 1 so he throws his sword that he broke and Ares and brings him back to life also there making the movie is the first book.that's what I heard it might not be true but hopefully it is.

message 105: by Drew (new) - rated it 5 stars

Drew I looked it up and couldn't find anything. There is a fanfiction called "Gregor and the Prophecy of Fire," but of course that's not a real book.

message 106: by Ian (new) - rated it 5 stars

i gree. I can't imagine getting my hopes up and then find out it's just some rumor... i've done that already and it gets sad...

Ian Lol ur welcome

message 119: by Kedron (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kedron I wish that Gregor stayed in the underland with his family and he and Luxa got married. It would make it way better cause I was really disappointed with how he had to stay in the overland. It would be Safe for them cause the war was over.

message 120: by Grace (new)

Grace Zarosinski How old is gregor in this book?

message 121: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella The ending to Gregor was so sad..........I personally would of preferred it to end differently...

message 122: by Ella (new) - rated it 5 stars

Ella Although, saying that, loved the whole series!

message 123: by Rin (new) - rated it 4 stars

Perfect!!!

Der1014 Luxa's Point of view enough said

message 125: by Eugene (new)

Eugene I think that for book 6 she should maybe write a story about Henry coming back to Regalia for revenge and he survived by landing on some dead rats and he had to survive for 6 years and then a prophecy foretells that Gregor has to fight him and they both will die.

Madison Jamie wrote: "I think she should make another book where Boots somehow comes back to the underland, but she doesnt remember much of it because she was so young when it happened, and she plays a part of a peaceke..."

I agree with meg did u even read the book

Madison i thinkk the ending is good but id change it to were there is like 100 more books because this series is great

message 128: by Eugene (new)

Eugene WHY ARE ALL OF COLLINS BOOKS SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!
e.g
Hunger Games
Rue
Prim
Katniss's dad

Underland Chronicles
Ares
Tick
Twitchtip

message 129: by Bayan (new) - rated it 5 stars

Bayan You know how she mentions that there is more than one door leading to the underland! As far as we know, we've only met two. Maybe Gregor discovers another one at the farm! I so want a 6th book, but he has to be older, like 18 is fine, so is 17. I just want to read more, the world she was able to weave with words is fascinating, and I just love it. I don't think she'll write a 6th book though

message 130: by Eugene (new)

Eugene You're making me confused

message 131: by Ben (new)

Ben Temps on Suzanne just killed Ares and there is no way around it like with Ripred and that really sucks because everyone got so attached to him .
I think Collins should make gregors whole family come down and live in the underland so gregor could marry Luxa and live hapilly ever after.
Oh and probably impliment the tree of transmition or the code of claw is some facinating way too

message 132: by E (new) - rated it 5 stars

E I can't say that I LOVED the end. I I can not say I hated it, becaus, it was a good end, even if it was sad.
I want to read more about Gregor in underhand. I don't want a sixth book in the series. I want a new series about a return to underhand. It should be called; back in underland.
I hope that Suzanne Collins reads that and makes a new series about Gregor in underland.
Thank you for reading!

message 133: by Keegan (new)

Keegan I think it was good but they left it in a bad spot i mean peace was brought to the underland again which was good but he obviosly had feelings for Luxa and he just left her i mean realley and. they were talking about moving to virginia but hadnt decided het what was the dessiciona? but suzane collins might be making a book 6 its a rumor but i donk know (hint hint)

message 134: by E (new) - rated it 5 stars

E I wrote to Suzanne Collins, and asked her if she will do a new series about Gregor in underland.
I am waiting for an answer...

I like it. Yes.

message 136: by Andrew (new) - rated it 5 stars

Andrew Heron I think there should be a 6 book were he goes back and help ripred and luxa fight the ants

message 137: by Nur (new) - rated it 4 stars

Nur yeah the ending totally sucks. i mean are'nt we ever going to know what really happened at the end of the book. i finished and was like wtf? is that really the end. I enjoyed the series immensely(i liked the hunger games better though)but will gregor visit the underland again? will they move to Virginia? i was really hoping that he and luxa would get married someday.

message 138: by Ethan (new)

Ethan Ratzlaff Nur no way man I finished a day ago also. You did comment yesterday right

message 139: by Jessy (new)

Jessy Markey He couldnt have a relationship in the overland with all those scars he would have to explain he wouldnt b able to go to school or relate to kids his age any more what sort of life could he lead in the overland? The only issue i can see if this was reality is that hes 12 and in love but if he gives up his oife and moves to the underland what happens if him and luxa break up?

message 140: by Christine (new)

Christine O'reilly OMG LOL. #drama lol.

Yeah he did seem a bit young. But.

I loved the ending, I just think there needs to be other books because I loved the series and so MOOOOAAAAAR

message 141: by B (new) - rated it 5 stars

B Yup! I think prob 14 wouldve been a better age... I always imagined him as such anyway.

message 144: by LiLiSnow (new)

LiLiSnow I think the ending sucked :(. Ares was my absolute favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved him to death (literally). But I have an Idea for a sixth book. Here: Read My Prophecy:

He the rager, back from dead,
on his flier, to kill more dread

When hope is lost, and all are gone
That is when, Abduxel live long.
Down from under, there he waits

For he the rager, up from above,
shall not close the gate,
leave it open, for all below,
to change a life,
to save a world.

So basically, Gregor has a new flier, Avalon, and she is Ares' sister *Bum Bum Buhhhh*. She is a Black bat with stripes of dark blue and has dark blue eyes. He will fail to kill humongous digger, Abduxel, and has to temporarilly bring the whole underland, to the overland *Bum Bum Buhhhhh*

It is hinted that Nike will become Howard's bond. And Gregor just "has a new bond" suddenly?

message 148: by E.P. (last edited May 14, 2016 12:08PM) (new) - rated it 1 star

E.P. I think Gregor should go back when Luxa is crowned queen and she tells Gregor he must find a new bat for a bond even though Ares the only bat he could trust is dead. He sets out on a journey to the Bats land to stay a couple days to find a new bond. He meets this bat named Shadow who is jet black or you could say as dark as night who is the biggest, fastest, and most trust worthy bat like Ares who also grew up with Ares and called him his best friend. When he returns to Regalia he is called to another prophecy his nightmare, but it is to make peace with all creatures. He must kill the one thing no one knew about. Not even Sandwich. It has been lurking in the shadows of the dead land. Gregor quickly bonds to Shadow and off they are again on an deadly adventure to save the Underland which is also Gregors new called home.

Sebastien Newell i think that because gregor has so many things from the underland that he cant explain he should go and live in the underland and mabye gregor and luxa could get married

message 150: by Arbré (last edited May 02, 2018 08:19PM) (new) - rated it 2 stars

Arbré Écorce I would have made the Code of Claw getting the rats keyboards and word processors by sellong the Sword of Sandwich. It was set up from book one as a reason of jealousy that rats couldn't write.
