Did the ending totally suck? How would you change it?

dragons come and kill everyone but mareth,Howard,luxa,and vikus escape and find gregor and he help's them take back the underland with the rats and other creatures
then gregor and luxa get married or what ever they do in the underland together and teach ripred to do tricks like jump through hoops and other stuff and he could wears bows on his tail and around his head
probably but gregor and luxa should really teach ripred to jump through a hoop
I think the biggest threat they could ever face would be more overlanders finding them. They would want to take all the land for themselves and put the underlanders in labs. If the underland existed this would be a real issue since we are now using superpower water drills to get oil out of American land so they would probably reach the underland first.
yes they could discover the underland that way or some one finds a entrance and tells everyone about it
Suzanne Collins could wright more books about gregor and his friends instead in them it is his friends way of the story like if luxa became the main character but it was the same books just in her way of the story
I kinda of wish Luxa had spent time in the Overland. It'd be so different for her to live a life without the threat of war.

What they need to do is have an epilouge thats all like 20 years later, and its like gregor and luxsas wedding, and then theres a sixth book where Gregor has to save the underland from something like dark magic.
I think there should be a series about how dad ended up in the underland, a prequel if you will...or how the neighbor was so understanding of it all. Then there should be a sequel series about Boots and some new adventures that she has later. I did not like the ending as I want to know exactly what happens, I don't like to have anything left to my imagination on whether he went back some day or not.

the end of the book doesn't say that Gregor wont return to the underworld... which I think most people here think that is where belongs, it just doesn't say he will. I personally would have like the book to end with a scene of him entering one of the passages again but all and all a great series.

I was a bit disappointed with the ending...It's just that there are so many things that are left to your own imagination and I don't like that :(. I'd absolutely love it if Suzanne Collins wrote another book. Like I've seen other people say...What happens to Gregor and Luxa!? To me that is the most important...and of course, I ask myself...will he ever return?

Sucks that her books get you attached to her characters, then kills them! Anyone read the Hunger Games, she killed Katniss'' sister. I knew that she would do the Same in this book. :( Hope there are more books, there is so much more she could add to the series.
Maybe a book before about Bartholemu Sandwich (don't know how to spell first name). Or someway there is a message given to Gregor (somehow) and they found more prophecies, maybe the prophecy of darkness, I don't know just something like that.

It was totally depressing. In my review of the book I marked it with the shelf "bad-ending."
