Aurora Thornton (auora_thornton) | 2 comments Hi, my name is Siana Wardell and I am a teenage YA author.
My first book Shadow's Call has just became avalible as an ebook on the kindle store for only $2.99!

Like most girls her age Thea was a sixteen year old who went to school, had a job and hung out with her two best friends before she had to be home for curfew. However there was always something a little different about her, like how she could see the shadows alive and moving since her mother disappeared when she was a child. Apart from thinking she was insane she thought she belonged in the mortal world, that was until she found out that both her friends, her mother and she herself were a part of a secret race of part humans called the Lumen who fight creatures of the dark called Shadows. Therefore she begins a new life with the Lumen in their secret London headquarters however even then something isn’t right. Thea notices that she is different from her friends and has no idea why. Little does she know that the Shadow king Raven has taken an obsessive interest in her and her arrival in the supernatural world will be the beginning of the fight for the very freedom to live her life as she chooses.

Shadow’s Call is a story of friendship, betrayal, action, obsession, courage, and self-discovery as Thea fights for the very thing we take for granted… the right to choose how we live.

This is very special to me and I would love to have people read it. You can even download a free sample off the offical Goodreads page!

D.F. Jules | 5 comments Hi, guys! My name is DJULES and I wrote a YA book.

The Sword

My name is Leah Curran and my life sucks

While other people inherit boxes of junk from their relatives, my family inherits powers. And not even cool powers. I have the ability to sense Angels, Demons and most importantly the Touched; people who are graced and cursed with the power of Angels and Demons, responsible for keeping the balance between Good and Evil. When it came to them, my mother only had one rule; avoid them at all cost. I broke that rule and lost my mother because of it.

Now I try to live a quiet, careful life with my uncle’s family and my best friend, Gabe. But once in a while the universe likes to kick you in the face just to remind you that you are small and insignificant. The Touched are gathering in my small little town of nowhere, and some of them know me and know what I can do. Some of them want to hurt me, some of them want to use me, and so little few want to protect me. Avoiding them is no longer an option.

I will finally have the chance to do something that I have been hopelessly wishing for since the night my mother disappeared; a chance to fight back.

I have been waiting for this, I have trained for this. It’s time to do or die.

You can check it out here in one blog to rule them all blog where you can find the first three chapters:

Nancy Lorenz | 0 comments I'm looking for a reviewer for my contemporary YA novel. The publication date is Sept., 2014.

It is still early, so there is no galley yet; it would be in manuscript form. My publisher, however, said that I should get reviews (The manuscript is 238 pages long.)

Where is the best place to find a YA reviewer on Goodreads? Is there a list?

Gail Campbell | 2 comments Hello, I've just published my debut novel "Fractured Minds" a fantasy horror suitable for YA upwards. I live in a small pennine town in England UK and although my book can be read as a stand alone, it does lead itself to another. It's available on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Here's a synopsis:

Could Melissa be losing her mind, or is she trapped in the worst nightmare of her life?
Melissa is troubled by severe headaches, low mood and disturbed sleep. She has the same recurrent nightmare in which a young girl, Rebecca, pleads for help to escape from a dark force, Noctilious, who has found his way into her mind and has taken her from the real world to his. Embarking on an investigation, Melissa tracks down Rebecca's family and is shocked to discover that Rebecca disappeared in mysterious circumstances over five years ago.
Melissa quickly realises that her nightmares are in fact reality and her unique ability to move from one world to the other is the only hope for Rebecca to escape and return home to her grieving family. But what is it that Noctilious wants and can Melissa rescue Rebecca before it is too late?

Thanks you!

My name is Vincent Robert Annunziato and I recently released my debut novel called "Status The Game." The reviews have been fantastic so far and would love to get some reads from YA fans.

The novel itself uses rules, not chapters, since Status is an MMORPG. The reason? I wanted the reader to feel as if they are playing along with the characters in the novel. If you are interested in Status you can find it here. http://www.amazon.com/Status-Game-Vin...

Memory Betrayal

Memory Betrayal is the story of college student Elliana Brandt and her twist of fate journey with wealthy CEO Grayson Dane.

Elliana Brandt avoids men like Grayson Dane as one would the plague.

Womanizer Grayson Dane has never met a woman he didn’t like, or that he couldn’t have.

So when a chance meeting brings him to her rescue and disinterested Elliana simply thanks him afterwards and leaves, stunned Grayson goes out after her, snatches her from the sidewalk before she can hail a cab, and forces her into his Escalade, unaware of the tragedy he was about to inflict on her, or that he’d wake up in a hospital bed, her at his side, with everyone under the impression that she is his wife. Including Elliana herself.

The ball was already rolling, what could he do…?

Recent 'Memory Betrayal' review:

Jonathan Nace | 5 comments Here's a highlight from the latest review of my book, Inevitable

"QotD (Question of the Day): Would I recommend this book? Yes, I would recommend this book for Young Adult readers as well as fans of futuristic novels. The pace is great for these genres and the futuristic components are not so detailed that they would be off-putting for the non-sci-fi fan. They are just enough to fit the story line and genres defined."

It's a Goodreads giveaway, for one day only on August 5th, so you might want to tell your members to watch out for it.

In a nutshell, 'the Dog Hunters' is a retelling of the classic legend of Gelert the wolfhound. It's as an epic medieval mystery adventure featuring Prince Llewelyn, Gelert, Feiyan, an enigmatic Chinese girl, and many bizarrely bred dogs. It was already getting great reviews, first as in text only, but now it comes with with over 290 illustrations it's really taking off and is proving equally popular in YA and adult readers. http://www.davidnbell.com/The_Dog_Hun...

Andre Clemons (andreclemons) | 1 comments Hello, my name is Andre Clemons! I'm currently a senior at the University of South Carolina. I've just published my first novel, TAINTED LOVE. It is a teen romance but of a different kind--a story of love, loss, and danger split between the view of both lovers.
Here is a basic rundown of the concept:

Alex Parker is a guy who hides behind many things--from his family, from his friends, and from himself. His heart is heavy, but he wants to become better. He wants to be able to embrace love and step out as the man he truly is.
Jasmine King tends to fade into the background--from her family, from love, and life in general. Not that she wants it that way. More than anything, she wants someone to look deep inside of her and see what no one else really does, to love her for who she truly is, not who she claims to be.
What happens when their paths cross, when love is part of their reality? When nothing is as easy as it seems? What happens when you're haunted by your past? When your emotions can betray you? When the very things that bring you together can push you further and further away, what can happen? Are they allowed to move forward? Is their love destined to be, or doomed before it can really start?

So, if that brief summary has piqued your interest (and if you're a fan of teen romance or urban fiction or both), I invite everybody to check it out here and let me know what you think!!
Thank you very much!!
