Human Trafficking

This is actually what I thought the group was about at first. But did you know there are more than 30 Million people that are enslaved, right now? That's more than there ever have been, at any point in history.
Human trafficking is a huge global problem.

It is :( It's horrible :(

I watched a video about it in social studies and it was heart-wrenching :(

There were these innocent children who thought that they should go with these "nice people" and get a job to send back money to their families :(

It's sad :(

My mom told me that in certin cities when girls who run away because they jmhad a bad family life they run away to a bus stop and man can abduct them and drug them and stuff! That is how some girls get into it and they are drugged....

Yeah, she says also now their are cops who go under cover and act like they are going to do it with them but end up saying them!

Yes, thankfully every so often, someone is a real hero :)

But yeah, the whole industry is pretty repulsive. I didn't realize it was so widespread until I read this book, It's the true story of a woman who escaped.

This one's actually fiction, but I think it portrays it pretty accurately.
