How about Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter? The heroes are often jerked around by the gods, and at least one of the heroines is a minor goddess. Starts with
though some people prefer the second book,
.A series with lots of different paranormals in it is Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole. The first book is
It doesn't have gods in it, but it has everything else but the kitchen sink. It's an excellent series--I don't think you'd be disappointed.P.S. I'm a fan of the Warriors of Poseidon, too, and I can't wait for
to come out!
Lisa M I have read LOTU series and I also love it! Def a fave of mine as well. I will check out IAD series, I have heard of it before. Jaq Shape-shifters is def a possibility. I do like Lora Leigh's Breeds series. And goblins sounds interesting! Katya I think the series you recommended will be a good one also. I will check them all out. Thanks a bunch! Keep the suggestions coming. I can read a book in a day or two if I really try, so series don't last me very long!
Definitely check out IAD series, its very good. You seem to like the same books as me, so what was warriors of poseidon about?
Just read a really great book by Amanda J. Greene. The second in the PNR series is due out the end of the month. If you want a really great 19th century, believable, romance this is the book for you. The hero is wonderful, dark and sexy. The Lady is awesome, sassy and brave. Take a look at
the second book is

by Laurann Dohner loved this series if you like Lora Leighs breedsor
for a vampire theme But no gods in them sorry I can't think of any off me head
t'irla ~aka s'layer~ wrote: "Historical Romance...sorry...lazy typist :)"lol!! that's fun. Well, it does not have a lot of drawn out pages about the history of the time period or the color of the trees and things like that as most Historical books tend to have. It really does stick to the story line and the characters. Try it, it was a page turner I thought :) Enjoy, I read it in a weekend.
I like
it's got, 10 in the series so far. It's about ppl with gifts, shapshifters, and a gargoyle or two. Angela Knight is pretty good, a different take on King Arthur and his court (vamps and witches/mages) with some shapeshifting in it as well. It starts with
. Christina Dodd has some good PNR series first up would be Darkness Chosen series
and the spin off Chosen series
.Oh and Jeaniene Frost, vamps, love her (it's 1st person and follows one main chatracter) Jennifer Ashley has some good shifters, and Shannon Butcher, Sentinel Wars series is pretty good too.
A good place to find full lists of series is a group called Serious Overload of Series (SOS) It has lists of completed series, in progress series, simialr, ect and they are in order so it is good for finding the order of the books and the group can makes great suggestions.
Hope this helps!

When Atlantis fell some of the Jewel's of Poseidon's Trident were lost. They have to find them and keep them from the Vampire's. All the jewels have special powers The Vampire's in this series are known to humans and even have their own house of congress. Basically the Vampires are the bad guys in this series. There are some Shape Shifters but mostly just super hot warriors.

I could really use some help looking for my next series to read. I just finished the Warriors of Poseidon series and LOVED IT!! It had it all, Vampires, Shape-shifters, Cranky Gods, HOT WARRIORS. Does anyone know of a series similar to this series or an adult series with Gods in it. I've read Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, also a fave. I've read most of the most popular Vampire novels as well, JR Ward's BDB series, Christine Feehan's Carpathians. Hopefully you all will have some ideas for me!!! Thanks in advance!
