I love Obsidian! There wasn't one moment in the book that I lost interest. And Daemon? I loved his jerk personality at the beginning and loved him even more when he cared for Katy. It was a brilliant story! :D

oooh, another has stepped aboard the conspiracy train with us. Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times, Rachel. Hot chocolate will be served at the interval. ;o)

I don't know what it is with me and conspiracies but it's happening a lot. First with shadows and then I finished Fever by Lauren DeStefano and I have so many conspiracies going round my head about that. I swear I have so much stuff going round my brain all the time it's a wonder i don't have a constant migraine. I overthink everything

Yep. I definitely overthink the chemical garden series. I did with the first one and even more so with the second. You should see my review, there's my normal review and then a massive spoilers section with all my conspiracies in LOL

Hehehehe. Conspiracies are awesome when others agree with you and you have folk to bounce them off. :o)

definitely and I did. Me and Emma from BelleBooks (she's my bestest blogging friend and blog twin) had a massive conversation about it on FB but now I need the next book now lol

There's nothing more irritating than having to wait for a next title. I swear if I'd self published, my resolve would've snapped and I'd have book 2 AND 3 out already, lol.

Of course I could. But then the story would be spoiled for you when it comes out. Besides, you will get a little of ... something ... on Thursday in my newsletter. ;o)

Arrrghh just fire your publisher! I'll publish your books! (After reading all of them of course! :P)

I have to say I'm super impressed with Jennifer's first book I've read. I started this book on Sunday planning to take a break from working from home for a couple of hours. And I never got back to work. I read the whole book straight through.

me too terri. When I got it I had about 5 days to read it but it took me a few hours. I couldn't put it down. This is also the first book I read by Jen and I loved it. I went and read Daimon and Half-Blood after and loved them (not as much as Obsidian) but loved them.
She is now my favourite author, everything I read by her i just love her writing even more.

I know most of you here are amazing Lux fans so I felt the need to let you all know that in the #YAMM (YA March Madness) Obsidian is losing against Wither by Lauren DeStefano!!! We must vote!! Obsidian, no, DAEMON is LOSING!! By like 5 votes!! And for Covenant fans Alex is losing by more than 10 votes to The Iron Knight!! They both have tough opponents but they can win if we vote!!!!! It's on Jen's blog that she hopes to win!!

by any chance any of you gys have a close up on Daemons lips, like the one of his eyes?i need one for my review lol!!!!!!
i did but it gets blurry, hehehehehe i´ll play with it on prhotoshop see what i can do about it lol!!!

At least that's how it happened with me when I started to "overthink" books. lol.
I posted a review of Obsidian on my blog today! Here is the link if you want to check it out.

I never overthink things when I've just finished a book. I just know how a book made me feel and that's often reflected in my reviews, because I always review immediately so I can move onto the next book without having to still be thinking about the one I just left. But if I discuss a book after I've finished or continue to think about it, then that's when all my conspiracy theories start to creep in or all the notions I didn't even realise were in my head at the time of reading, lol.

Your reviews don't tend to be full of your conspiracy theories, either, do they, Kay? Yours pretty much reflect all your OMG's of how it made you feel. :o)

Yes my reviews always have my OMGs because I hate to spoil the book and to discuss my conspiracies I'd have to spoil it. I never include spoilers in my reviews so I always leave my conspiracies for the discussions.
The only review I included Conspiracies in was for Fever by Lauren DeStefano but that's the worst series for conspiracies going round your head so I did a 'spoiler section' at the end of my review for the conspiracies lol

I have conspiracies in my head all the way through a book. It's just the way my mind works, I guess. I agree with you both about reviews. I leave spoilers out as much as possible because I don't like them. I want to know how a book felt more than anything and that is what I express.I'm pretty new to reviewing, but I don't think I will change in that regard.
