I genuinely adore this book and for her to write the whole thing in such a short period of time. Wow!
Just bought it and starting it today, finally ;-)

So i am about half way through and I reallyyy like it. I am surprised because im not really into the "alien" thing.

I can't decide which series I like more.. I think after reading book 2 of each, I can make a better decision. I finished Obsidian last night and I am DYING for Onyx to come out.. so good.
I know it was awesome, I spent yesterday and last night stalking JLA bc I loved it so much, I just had to go through the quotes as well....my fav I think is (view spoiler)
This was my first JLA book but I will definitely be reading more. I was a little hesitant too Cassandra because of the alien angle but I ended up loving it!
Arrghh why doesn't KOBO.com sell this book?
the bookdepository has it in paperback :P

She is without a doubt my favourite author
I finished this today after starting it last night. My first ever alien novel and I doubt I could praise this up high enough to folk. I'm actually feeling pretty awed by the authors storytelling ability to the point of inadequacy. Most definitely, Jennifer is an author to keep an eye on.
I know how you feel, J.A. I love her writing style. I can't wait to finish this.

Awww Kay, can we share him???I finished the book quickly as well.. I just couldn't put it down. Onyx needs to come out NOW. I am curious to find out what Onyx has to do with the book though... Obsidian was explained but this seems odd.

Yeah, I've heard the same thing. I swear, my husband started watching some show about gold mining in the bearing(sp?) sea and the guys on there were definately from another planet!

It's kind of hard being around the groups when you know folk in them are discussing your books. Good job everyone in here seems to love her stuff (though, seriously, what's not to love?).

Just Eww. Why is it old men think it's okay to be gross? I've had my fair share of those and the only thing you can really do is get away as fast as you can.

I love Obsidian! I am very impressed with Jennifer's writing, and in only eight days.... that's not human.

Starting over sucks.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don’t kill him first, that is.
