Early TGDA Book Discussion *SPOILER ALERT*

my spoiler tells you how to find the code easier for blocking spoilers just incase I'm not the only one that was having a problem figuring that out :) will be finished with the book in 10 mins went to bed early so I wouldn't finish it and then I just kept having dreams about the book yummy dreams if I do say so myself but now I can't fall back asleep

Plus a little shock about the over all outcome of the book.

I'm sure Darynda said that For I Have Sinned takes place after the third book, but I am having a hard time gluing the pieces together. In TGDA Reyes and Charley's relationship was angsty and anger-filled, but in FIHS it felt like things were patched up? What do you ladies think?

patched up?hmmm..I'll be honest, I lost a little love for Reyes in this.I really felt sorry for Charley at the end. When the biker comes in and she explains to Garrett why she was doing what she doing. She;s been too hurt by the men she loves in her life. Her father taking the cake.

click on the some html is ok and copy the code for spoiler paste it and then take out the dots and write what you want to say there then it will work hit preview to make sure

I got the feeling that things were going good also but the end of book two wasn't a positive thing for their relationship so I was expecting some problems in the third book. I wasn't expecting what happened in the third book at all but def keeps me on my toes with the story line. I too read through the books a little fast I was going to reread them all just to see if I missed something

Who's already thinking about what;s to come in the next book because of the things that happened in this book? I'm hoping Reyes fixes it as well. She might be in jail and he'll be out.I bet she sticks with Donavon and he'll get her back with someone else.grrr.I'm still so shocked by her father.

Thank goodness for Cookie & Ubie!!! I am soo angry at Charley's dad. Here Charley had forgiven him and was ready to move past his betrayal in book 2-then he turns around and does it AGAIN!

Hurt me once, shame on you. Hurt me twice, shame on me!

WHY do guys thinks they're a know all, be all in our universe? Numb nuts!

I would bet good money that we'll be pissed at Reyes throughout the next book and love him again in the end.I would also guess that Charley and the biker will date and I don't think Reyes will be alone either.Does anyone think that this is Charley's time of suffering that the nun suggested was coming?

Reyes was abit of a pest last book but i still love him

Moreover, I have to say I kind of understand Reyes' actions better than her father. Even though they know each other, they don't know each other properly and Charley kept trying to run away from him all the time and didn't exactly believe him when he said he hadn't killed Walker - they do have trust issues. Not to mention Reyes confessed he used her as target and he could protect her whereas her father doesn't confess anything and keeps going behind her back. He doesn't seem to be sorry either, I must say.

You made me search the word up on "Urban Dictionary"! And now I that I know what it means, I can say I totally agree! lol And she does need an office that is not "paid" by her father, you're right.

Remember back with our visit with Darynda and she mentioned that Denise would be coming to Charley in the future for someone else's behalf? Well, I'm betting that will be dear old dad. Hopefully he'll see the light by then and realize how wrong he's been and that Charley is wonderful just as she is!
I was really frustrated with Reyes there at the end too! I can understand that he intended to protect her throughout his plan...but jeez!! Talk to the girl already and let her know what's going on!!! The only way they're going to win the war is to be a team and that means getting together and actually talking the plan out so everyone is on the same page!!! I don't think she and Donovan will get together, but I do hope she torments Reyes a bit with him so maybe he'll finally see the light too!

Traci...communication? What man has ever heard of the word and understood it's meaning? Working and talking together is a miraculas concept, huh! Men are worse than pig s**t at times.

And those Alpha Males are the worst of the species in seeing things any way other than theirs...

I figure that we love them too much not to put up with them, but we definitely need to have a girls night (or weekend) with plenty of alcohol to help us with our frustrations...and having plenty of hot eye-candy around won't hurt either :P

lol

I so have to get this book back to reread.I can't remember what he said. I don't agree with my mom at all.I think he did it to get unbound and found innocent.Personally, I think he did trust her or he wouldn't have brought her to his friends house. She could have told the police they were helping.I just wonder what her father has as proof of her helping him?I hope it's not Ambers phone pic. That would suck.

“Rey’aziel,” I whispered under my breath with every intention of sending him back to his body for good, but he was in front of me at once.
“Don’t you dare,” he said, his voice a low growl.
I glowered at him. “You don’t get to order me around.”
He pushed his hood back, his face startlingly beautiful, inches from mine. “So you’re going to punish me? Unbind me when you need me, then bind me again when you don’t?” He leaned so close, I could smell the lightning storm roiling inside him, the earthy dampness of morning dew evaporating under the heat of the sun. “Fuck you, then.”
I shook to my core, the anger sparking within me, catching fire and flooding the area with the energy pouring out of me. In a word, I threw a fit.
(...)
Screams and shouts echoed down the hall. People were struggling to their feet. Equipment had toppled over and light fixtures hung from the ceiling by wires.
And my father looked at me. And he knew.
Then Reyes was in front of me again, an expression that was part anger and part satisfaction lit his beautiful, traitorous features. “Finally,” he said, right before he disappeared."
