Just finished Butch's book in the BDB sries, the last in the Black Ops series by Cindy Gerard, and The Seduction of Sebastian St. James (a historical romance)...I was out of work a few days with sinus infection.

We are like book soulmates lol those are my fav covers to for the same reason I like being able to picture for myself the majority of the characters in the books I read I love getting what I consider ground rules but I hate it when they over describe the characters all the way from hair color down to their shoes. I like being able to use my imagination.
The only thing better than hot male cover is one with tattoo's ;)

Chantal Halpin | 125 comments There are a lot of faceless man-chests though and those covers can all end up looking the same.

But ditto on the ink ;)

This is why I prefer the US covers for Darynda's books to the UK versions. Besides the pretty eye-popping color on Third and Fourth Grave, I like not being able to make out Charley's face. Leaves more to the imagination.

I love sexy tattooed manchest covers too, but I'm glad they are safely tucked inside my Kindle! I get embarrassed way too easily, and would never buy a manchest book from a brick-and-mortar store. (I know that's silly, but I can't help it.)
Owning a Kindle opened up a whole new world of reading to me! I enjoy reading so much more now that I can buy nearly anything fitting my latest whimsy without worrying about getting all redfaced at the store. :)

Chantal Halpin | 125 comments I know what you mean. I can read in the staff room and my colleagues probably think it's something high-brow *sniggers*

Nawnee (nawnees) | 132 comments I read eBooks on my blackberry or ipod touch. I can't wait to get a kindle just to make the font bigger and still have the same portability. But I totally understand what your saying about the covers I find I'm reading paranormal romance more and more and there covers aren't something I want on display around my 6yr old especially if its a female cover which it usually is he already loves girls to much as it is without adding in nakedness.

yes i now he use to steal my cosmo mag and sleep with them under his pillow aaackk!! I'm would expect this from my 14 yr old but I've known ever since he asked if we could buy the model on the wall in her undies and bra at Khol's department store if we could buy her. I swear the look on my face must have been one of pure horror since he was 4 or 5 at the time I said NO she isn't for sale and thank god she's just a picture. Then cause I'm a sucker for punishment I asked what did he want her for anyway and he grinned and said just to cuddle with him in his bed cause he doesn't have anyone to sleep with and it isn't fair since I have dad. I pointed out his brother sleeps alone and he just blew that off as unimportant. Needless to say when he turned 6 I got him a dog to sleep with we already owned a great dane but she's too darn big for cole to play with or well do anything with lol. but now he's got his bestest friend ever in his dog jasper and he has stopped asking me to buy him girls thank god. But now my prob is he's in first grade and the little girlies are in love with him cause he's cute as a little angel and this is what they say to him I need a chastity belt I've decided lol

Mel | 829 comments Nawnee...I do not envy you his pre-teen and teenage years. You'll have to watch that one like a hawk. LOL

Kitty, I was ticked! Reyes was an a** and so was Charlie's dad. I still love Reyes but he needs to grovel and learn to trust and communicate. As for dad, well, he is on my very last nerve. Ubie is gaining lots of love and support. :-). Head over for our discussions. We have lots of fun.

Nawnee (nawnees) | 132 comments I think everyone was a little shocked by this last book. And reading about Reyes groveling plus doing various other things for Charley's forgiveness justmight make it worth while. :)
