I do not even view him as EVIL...just the typical Alpha with way too much testosterone to think. Charlie just needs to "train" him a little and everything will be okay. It is already in his nature to protect her above himself, but you are correct things will get worse. Charlie needs to deal with these emotions and learn about and how to use her abilities. Plus Reyes's "training" is going to be a nightmare....

Your correct about having no shame and I'm sure I speak for some of the other women (ok all of them) on this site when I say I don't care and I will beg on my knee's if I have to just to get a preview of the next book or a short story to tied me over and withhold the side effects of Reyes and Charley withdrawl.

I'm never happy till I get the HEA....let's face it, Charley's a tempest in a teapot right now. Once she figures out how to climb out of that Teapot: look out! She'll be able to kick Reyes ass without coffee. As for the "Bad Boy" aspect of my beloved Reyes...he's gonna need all the bad he has to help Charley keep Armageddon from happening.

If he was totally evil, he would not protect his sister, help his friends, save the helpless in prison or protect Charlie from the purely evil demons. As the son of Satan, he does not have to be pure evil...if I am remembering correctly, he was not created directly from Satan himself but created from the Earth and Heavens. He was raised by evil but is not a direct descent of evil... He has the ability to relearn, adapt and change.
I may be viewing Reyes all wrong but I see him as a confused Alpha trying to learn to trust. Trusting another will be incredibly difficult for him with where, how, and whom he was raised. Not to mention, he is going to fear Charlie because he feels emotions for her that are unknown and new for him and she possibly has more powers than he does. Trusting someone who could destroy you is very difficult but given Reyes's upbringing, it may be nearly impossible.
But I may be too much of a romantic and misreading everything...I am a glass half full type of person and always looks for the good no matter what.

I dated my fair share of bad boys and even married one my first time I would take my current husband any day my first marriage didn't even make it past the year mark lmao all we did was fight and well you know ;) lol My current honey doesn't fight with me at all which is a little irritating lol but I'm shocked I forget how long we've been together all the time cause it just doesn't feel like we've been married for that long. I would still take a fantasy weekend, hour, min with Reyes lmao and I think he'd understand *fingers crossed*

There's no innocent fantasy for me...There are times you can see me running through my house with a book in my hands and laughing and panting and saying "OMG, I want me some of this man" (in reference to my current book boyfriend)My DH looks at me and says, "Do you want to be alone?" There are times I just forget where I am. *sigh* This happened a lot with book 1 and 2 in the Charley Davidson series(in the hot and heavy, slobbering way), a happy reader is an excellent mother and wife, bible.

Hey guys! I'm a newbie here :) and I just finished reading through this thread...whew!Let me start by agreeing that Reyes is H.O.T., for sure. And I see how there would be attraction between Charley & Reyes...magnets. However, since Book 1, I have felt their relationship is too shallow, tons of incorporeal sex, but nothing else. They've never had a real conversation. They've only phsically been in the same room a few of times (one of those was a hostage situation). Everyone is constantly warning Charley that he is BAD news (Rocket, Angel, Marigold, and a few others). Marigold said that Reyes was her Krptonite...that's not good! Deep down Charley is scared of Reyes, and I think Reyes knows that when Charley reaches her full potential he will be very scared of her. Am I the only one that has a hard time believing they could create a HEA?

Oh, I would LOVE a short story! Waiting for these books is torture. Reyes + Charley making babies? I could go for that. I really hope they do eventually get a HEA. I realize Reyes is the son of satan but, I really don't view him as evil, and maybe the two of them would balance each other out as fas as good & evil factors. Does that make sense? lol.
I love Charley and I hate that everyone is dragging her through the mud. At least she has Cookie(who I adore), Uncle Bob, and really Garrett. I'm suprised he hasn't become a bigger character.
I definitley want Reyes & Charley together but I am really liking Donovan. I hope he stays in the picture in some way.
I know Mel's going to go after me for this comment but what I'm not certain that Reyes is actually evil. The only evil act I've read is about is when he kidnaps Charley and what he does to her. I remember reading somewhere thru the series that Reyes said,(something along these lines) "I don't kill people, unless your in danger".He's also upset in the series when he thought Charley would se her body to get what she wants.I think he looks at Charley as he wants to see her, not as she is.(don't kill me Mel) My only concern is that their HEA won't be together.

If they can have a HEA together, GREAT!, but it has occured to me, as well, that it might not be possible. We might get steered in a different direction...I'm thinking Garrett Swopes. Their relationship has been slowly growing in each book. (view spoiler)
I'm not sure about there HEA being with other people I see what you guys are saying but I think there passion for each other is unlike anything either has experienced you don't find that everyday and I doubt it's something Charley could just throw away. I'm up for her having a fling with Donovan, I think this would teach the two jerk faced men in her life a valuable lesson. Correct me if I'm wrong but the kind of passion these two have and they haven't even had sex with their corporeal bodies yet. I think when that happens there will be hell to pay literally. I could be mistaken about the sex but I swear every time their physically together something interrupts them. I don't have the first book I lent it to my sis so I can't go back and check all of them so let me know if I'm mistaken about this :)

Ok, Donavon is not what he seems. There is something very strange going down with that biker click. I think he may be undercover, just a thought! I think that would be the best finally, a baby for Charley...(wait this is one of the discussion questions) sorry not going there until next week. Anyho, yep, we are in for one hell of a ride. I don't see Reyes as evil either, Chantal. He's VERY protective of those that he loves. But, because of the violence he's been subjected too--and that whole Son of Satan thing--sometimes the only way he can protect is through the THREAT of violence. (view spoiler)
For me, it Charley and Reyes will always be each others HEA but I'm willing to wait for as many more books as possible for it to happen :)
