Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was different than anything I've read so far. The bean sidhes and reapers were really interesting. Plus, there's all those mystery 'things' out there too. I've got the next 3 books, and I can't wait to get into them and learn more. Whoo!
...Also, thanks, Kristen, for the heads up about Demonglass.

Fracture is a very good YA debut. I wasn't too sure about what to expect in the beginning but became engrossed in the story as it progressed. For the most part, all of the characters were engaging. The ending was predictable but what I didn't like was that it seemed abrupt. I would have liked more details about what happened to the characters later on. This left me wavering between a 3 and 4 star rating, thus the 3½ stars. All in all, Megan Miranda is a talented writer and I look forward to reading more from her.

Love Bites is another entertaining installment in the Argeneau series. I really enjoy how Lynsay Sands blends humor, romance and action to keep you wanting more while also keeping the plot light in comparison to some of the other vampire series. The Argeneau family is hilarious and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters. It was also fun to watch the evolution of Etienne and Rachel's relationship. I will definitely be continuing this series and hope to learn more about all of the secondary characters in the coming books.

Review: Oh how I missed Kate and Curran! It was another great story. Tons of action. Kate always getting into trouble. Kate and Curran arguing. (Probably some of my favorite parts.) The end was interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next in Magic Slays.

This series is hysterical! I love how the author blends paranormal elements with humor, mystery and romance all thrown in to the mix. My favorite characters are Charley and Cookie, who are both such a trip! I would love to hang out with them for a day. The ending is not a cliffhanger but it left me hoping that this book is setting up for something big to come. I can't wait for the next book!

So...here's my ghost book:

Review: It was a wild ride. This is the story of the aging amusement park: Dream Land. This park is the prison to four horrible demons and a fifth one that's rather fun; ironically, the fun demon is named "Fun." There are fifth humans (called the Guardia) who live on the grounds of the park and are charged with keeping the demons trapped in their chalices. It seems like a serious premise, but the book is actually quite funny and at times, romantic.

On that note I change my favorite series book to

Review: This is such a fun series! This time, Kitty and Ben go to Las Vegas to get married. Once they arrive at their hotel, Kitty is shocked to find that they are there during a gun convention! The problems start when some bounty hunters show up and Kitty has to escape. She finds a very strange group of shifters and vampire ruling the town. Ben is kidnapped and Kitty spends her time trying to find him to be sure that he didn't just get cold feet.
It wasn't my favorite Kitty book, but it was a quick read full of action.

I'm gonna try to get everything updated after I get off work in a few hours. (Sorry I've gotten behind on it. I've been going a million miles a minutes with school and work. Plus, I'm reading Lover Mine, which sucks me in, and I lose all sense of time. Soo good. Hehe.)

Review
This books is a slow build. The book is told from the first person point of view of an unmarried young woman in the 1870s who is slowly reaching the designation of spinster, Margaret. The book alterates with flashbacks from the point of view of another young woman, a "spiritualist" who is able to contact spirits and ghosts. This woman, Selina, is currently in prison and Margaret is a "lady" visitor to the prison. This period of time is so fascinating for me. People lived such restrained lives, particularly women. Grown women are treated like children not allowed to understand their finances and floating around in life unhappy and searching. So many of these unhappy searching women in this story seek out "spiritualists" for entertainment. The tale is definitely gothic, dark and gripping. I said it was a slow build, but toward the end it is like a huge boulder rolling down a hill - -the speed picks up and I raced to the end to see what would happen. I really loved this book and will definitely be looking for others by Sarah Waters.
