Self promotion is permitted in the group, but you have to start a thread in a correct area. You probably saw self-promotion ..."

Yes, exactly. Thank you for clarifying!

Bruce McCombs | 2 comments The first book I published I had no idea how big the book industry was because I was determined to published my first sales book. I had the content I had accumulated from years of selling, I just needed to organize it and write on paper.

My first mistake was I did not ask a very important question, "Is my book ready for the public?" The answer to that question was no. I did not have a developmental editor checking my work and my marketing plan was not completely and competently thought through. Thus, I paid the price. Low book sales and low reviews. Although the reviews were excellent!

Anyway, I did ask the question again, "Is my book ready for the public?", for my second book which I released recently, How to Be Happy on Mondays. I corrected some mistakes but what I found is, the publishing world is like an ocean with little land mass obstructing its advancement. And that's why I am on this chat board with all you creators. Fixing mistakes and learning from them one book at a time!!
