According to GRRM, there will be another preview chapter included in A Dance with Dragons when released in paperback this July.

There is also a new Tyrion chapter in the recent update for the World of Ice and Fire app. The app itself is free but the "content packs" you have to pay for, however you don't need to get these to read the preview chapter.

I didn't read the chapter yet, but I think there's only one white dragon alive: Viserion.

The chapter clearly says that Tyrion PICKS UP the white dragon. He can do so because it's a piece of the playing board and not the actual dragon that roams outside and kills the Yunkai soldiers...

When waiting for the next book in the series I go through phases of not thinking about the book, or maddeningly obsessing over it. The sample chapters help, but I'm starting to hit the obsessing phase. I'm almost to the point where I'm checking daily if a release date has been announced.

If you have not read the five prequel novellas or The World of Ice and Fire then I suggest you read those as well. If you have read them all, then do it like me, I 'cheated' on George and read other fantasy novels :D Found great new favorites already e.g. Joe Abercrombie.

It is very light. Like reading The Vale High or something. I like it though. Sansa (and Arya) is becoming a master manipulator and indeed if she could be as smart as LF then she could end up becoming the ruler of the North, Riverlands and the Vale.

I have a question- in the end of the first Tyrion chapter, it reads, "Jorah Mormont himself interrupts with news of black sails in the bay flying dragon banners." Do we know what fleet this is?
It's been a few months, but I thought Slaver's Bay was filled with the Iron Fleet and the Yunkai'i.....
