1:21 pm, and I'm about to attempt AGAIN to clean up my livingroom and diningroom. My son's 4th birthday party was yesterday, and it looks like his birthday party exploded all over my house. :) Every time stuff gets put away, it ends up right back out because he's so excited over his new stuff. I'm about ready to just give up for the day...

I hate the Power Rangers too...I'm SO glad my son hasn't gotten into them yet... I'm afraid he's just too young, though, and will discover them one day and like them. SO not looking forward to that day!!

Oh and I hate the power ranges too lol

Thanks Gabriela :D hell be fine but you know boys when they get sick it's so weird seeing them just sit or lay down lol normally they are jumping off walls lol

message 713: by Gabriela (new)

Gabriela | 384 comments Don't I know it! I know something is wrong when they don't want to eat or they just lay there without complaining about one thing or another. You feel so helpless, it sucks when your kids are sick.

I know and I hate that after you wait for hours to see the doctor and then you are told just keep giving them pain relief and fluids no antibiotics WTF I wouldn't have brought him in if I didnt think he needed antibiotics arrrggghhhh and then they tell you to bring them back if they get worse ... Yeah hang on I've got a few hours to spare again LOL

message 715: by Gabriela (new)

Gabriela | 384 comments I hate that as well, I had strep throat a couple of weeks ago. I tell the Dr. that I need Levaquin instead of the Z-Pak and he ignores me. I end up with a abcessed tonsil and missed 6 days of work! I was in so much pain, stupid a$$ Dr doesn't give me anything but the Z-pak. I go to another Dr she gives me a shot plus pain meds, plus steroid shot then my son gets sick and it starts all over again!

message 716: by [deleted user] (new)

3:09 PM I'm just freaking out, and trying to adjust to the lost hour from yesterday. Weekend is done, and we're back at monday so, less fun time for me :(. Also I'm now writing a book here, that's nice (I love goodreads) still reading Fifty, but I got Shatter Me. I'll start with it tomorrow (lots of good feedback on that one). Now I've discovered that I don't know nearly enough book BF to keep up with the rest of y'all, so I'm starting a list (oh this will be fun). I might also write another of my goofy Onyx make-ups. Long day! Chao!

WTF bloody doctors really have no clue

message 722: by [deleted user] (new)

Yep, that's what doctors usually are. I still remember when I went MRI that was one of my least favored day ever. Oh except for that other one where I had an appointment and waited an hour more than I was supposed to, and spent it in the waiting room wishing I had my book!

Thanks. Better now than in two weeks when we must drive to FL for my brother in law's wedding!

message 735: by Angieleigh (new)

Angieleigh It is 7:49AM and I have been up since 3:30AM Monday morning with a two hour nap in between. I am currently losing my mind thanks to fatigue and finishing up writing a book review or two. Just finished Enchantment and am currently reading Counterfeit Lady (James River #1) as well as the follow up to Enchantment, Taken.

18-19 hours. We leave March 28th, after dinner, and will drive through the night to get there late Thurs afternoon. Then we have to leave the following Monday! We just could not afford to fly, it would have cost us $3000 for the 5 of us. So driving it is. I am not happy about it as I have to take Anthony out of school for 4 days right before his Spring break, but what can you do?

OMG that is a very long drive and to do it twice is going to be do exhausting but to pay that much money for flights seems pointless I would much rather drive ... I don't envy you :(

Yeah, driving was not really my first choice. I wanted to fly, but we just can't swing it.

message 741: by Gabriela (new)

I know I live in Houston, Texas so the weather here in the fall and spring is absolutely unpredictable. We joke when relatives come to visit and tell them bring shorts, an umbrella, and a winter coat just in case.
