Jeane said(re eat pray love): I am so curious about this book even if it is the name Italy that took all my attention!
The part about Italy was the best, I think. I think you'll really enjoy it too, knowing and loving italy as you do. I laughed out loud at times, at her right on descriptions of all things roman. The rest was good too.

Woohoo, I finished! Yeah!

What did you think about the book Karen?

This is not a typical book that I'd read (my friends were surprised) however I really loved the movie (sobbed my heart out) and I thought I'd try the book. It's actually quite different from the movie. The movie is American-ised but the book is completely Irish (the whole thing takes place in Ireland and Holly herself is Irish and she has a whole big family thing!) so it has a different feel than the movie.

I read Barack Obama: Our 44th President by Beatrice Gormley

i read PS I Love You for this challenge and I loved it. i didnt even know there was a movie to it until the other night. who's in the movie?
if you liked PS I Love You, check out Finishing Touches from Deanne Kizis. similar to PS, this one deals with loss of a young spouse but from the perspective of the best friend. very well told story.

Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler...

The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern by Lilian Jackson Braun

I also read Icy Sparks by Gwen Rubio for book where the main character has a handicap. I wanted to really like this book and it started out very interesting. It is about a girl with Tourette Syndrome in the 1950s. However, it became difficult to read because the characters were one dimensional and the conclusion was much too trite for me.
