SOLVED. Book version of Surviving: A Family in Crisis [s]

In 1985, there was a made for TV movie on ABC called Surviving: A Family in Crisis. I read the book that was based on the movie. (As I recall, the movie came first, then there was a novelization based on the movie.) I can't find the listing for the book on Goodreads or Amazon.com. Does anyone know who got writing credit for the book? I would like to add the book to my shelves, but can't really do it without more information.

Here's what I know about the movie, if that helps at all: starred Zach Galligan and Molly Ringwald as in-love teenagers and Marsha Mason and Ellen Burstyn as their mothers. Also featured River Phoenix. Rereleased on VHS in 1993 and called Tragedy.

does anyone else remember this book and know who wrote it, the ISBN, something that will help me add it?

imdb.com has the film listed as Surviving, could it be that this is the title of the book as well?

Ah, someone indicated that Elizabeth Faucher is the author of Surviving.

Thanks so much! I just used Book Sleuth for the first time, and just found Elizabeth Faucher was the author of the novelization. It was using the term "novelization" that got me the info I needed.
