1. I'm a sucker for speculative fiction, from sci-fi to paranormal, especially ones with a little romance.
2. I not only live in Alaska, but I farm up here. Our garden is over 1000 sf, our orchard has 20+ trees, and we raised a steer last year, all on 1/2 acre.
3. I've recently become addicted to crocheting while talking books with my writing group (we call ourselves Critters and Knitters - lol!), and I can now officially create more than squares and circles. Sweaters and socks, here I come!
I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Umm....I am not a gemini, but I have driven one.
I hate people who say 'lol'.
I've never committed a crime I've been caught for.
I like shiny things and words.
I once ate a tarantula...but don't worry it was cooked. It's not like it was raw or anything...that would be gross.
welcome to the group, Dean! The tarantula reminded me of this article:

Ew, that's just creepy! I had to share on Facebook.

Patricia wrote: "Hi all! I'm Patricia Reding. I have discovered the first thing about me as I have been contemplating what three things to share, and that is that I really don't like to share anything about mysel..."
Hey Patricia, welcome to our crazy group!
Hey Patricia, welcome to our crazy group!

Thank you!

Hi all, my name is Pam. I'm new here and I enjoy reading most genres that have some sort of action/adventure in them.
I write high adrenaline action/adventure (under the pen name E.P. Scott) and am currently editing my debut novel Split Decisions - When Seconds Count (tag line - how many seconds would you take).
My avitar is one of my book covers that I've designed. Other can be seen on my profile. I am currently constructing a website (not up yet but the site's name is greatscottwriting.com)
I look forward to visiting all the threads and participating in discussions.
Cheers,
Pam

I am married, run a family owned business, have four children and seven grandchildren. Between family, business and writing, and yes in that order, I have a very full and active schedule.
It's nice to stop, sit and write... It calms my spirit to say the least.

1. I live in New Brunswick, Canada
2. I own a Bernese Mountain Dog named Marley
3. I hate reading paper books - now that I have an iPad, I always have at least one book on the go at all times

2. I love reading, especially thrillers, mysteries, horror, science fiction, and fantasy.
3. I am owned by a cat named Tiger Lily.

I just cannot get comfortable with a thumb stuck in a book trying to hold it open yet not breaking the spine. And I hate to say it, but I am getting older and the eyesight just isn't perfect anymore so I really like getting to choose my font size.

I'm back again at last. Phew! Took me a decade to arrive, but so what? I'm here now. That's what matters.
Feeling lazy to pick up my next book--"Tick-tock" by Dean Koontz.
Anybody have the cure for my ailment?
Hi Ike! Read what you feel like reading- that's my solution when I need to get out of a reading slump.
Sometimes I just pick up the most random book that I ordinarily wouldn't, but sounds interesting.

1;live in Canada
2;I'm 13 "does that bug anyone? I don't know if this is for a certain age group"
3;Well I got a blog where I do book reviews, so I'm guessing I like them? (head nodding)

LOL, I actually don't have that much time, I used to be able to finish a book in 24 hours, but not anymore, no, not anymore.
