Karen,I saw on another thread that you enjoyed the Cadfael books,I was recommended the Shardlake series by C.J.Sansom.They are whodunnits set in Tudor times.
I checked them out and they are available on Kindle priced around £3.50.

I have only listed the ones that I have read. I have a Goodreads TBR on my kindle where I pop the ones I've downloaded to keep them separate, but there are so many "our authors" that I would still be writing the "full list of books that I might eventually find the time to read" at Christmas.

I've got a seperate shelf on goodreads where I pop the books by our authors once I have read them - but my TBR on here is so long that our authors get lost in the crowd. This is a handy way for me to keep track of those still to go - I know that there are a few more to add to the TBR but I've forgotten which ones, will have my memory jogged on here soon I'm sure!

I think if you are a 'reader' one of the necessary requirements is to have a never-ending TBR list.

I don't want to start a new book as I want to do my essay tomorrow and then I have a read-a-thon next week!
