LynnB Just curious what new series you are all out there buying...

I just got a few "series firsts" to try out:
Double-Booked for Death (Black Cat Bookshop Mystery #1) by Ali Brandon , Button Holed (Button Box Mystery #1) by Kylie Logan and Fatal Fixer-Upper (A Do-It-Yourself Mystery, #1) by Jennie Bentley .

I get all my books from the library, so I'm not buying any right now. But every now and then I like to go and browse at the bookstore, making notes of books to look for :)

I really want to read the Jennie Bentley book and several others. I've got In The Dead of Winter (Ivy Towers, #1) by Nancy Mehl checked out now.

Pamela (pamelaterry) I just got Shelter Mountain (Virgin River, #2) by Robyn Carr Shelter Mountain, and Home At Last Chance by Hope Ramsay Home At Last Chance.

Attended a meet and chat with both of these authors. It was really a lot of fun. I have not started either of these series, however, the first book of each series was sold out. So, I ended up with #2 of each series, LOL. Robyn Carr is hilarious :)

Peggy | 33 comments I usually buy a lot of books all at once. Then while I am reading them I buy some more...never enough books. Right now I am reading Indemnity Only, Indemnity Only (V.I. Warshawski, #1) by Sara Paretsky

Peggy | 33 comments I bought Stay At Home Dead by Jeffrey Allen Buried in a Book by Lucy Arlington The Square Root of Murder (A Sophie Knowles Mystery, #1) by Ada Madison and the reason I bought them was because they were either a new series starting or the first of a series. Always looking for something new. I have already read the Stay at Home Dead.

Jervilyn Angeli (jervilynangeli) | 1 comments I'm trying to read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie but my nose is still stuck in my dystopian books that I just can't finish this different genre of a book! These books you're all listing down sound so fun, it's making me want to snatch a few of them. If any of you have finished already, let me know which are the best!!

Oh no, the GR gremlin is at it again :) It's not the same "Mind Over Murder" that Lynn got, and I know you didn't change it.

message 20: by Angela (new)

Angela Holland (bookaunt) I wonder why it changes the cover/title like that. That is just weird.

message 21: by LynnB (new)

LynnB That is the third time it's happened to me in the past couple of weeks. Very strange.

DonnaCarol | 128 comments Recently purchased the first in the series "A Haunted Home Renovation Mystery" by Juliet Blackwell. This was also the first book by this author for me. I just finished it today & am looking forward to #2 in the series. If Walls Could Talk (A Haunted Home Renovation Mystery #1) by Juliet Blackwell #1 is "If Walls Could Talk". (I love it when the title is actually connected to something in the book instead of so evasive or not connected at all & you wonder, "where did THAT title come into the story?).

message 29: by Carey (new)

Carey | 14 comments Recently purchased "Night of the Living Deed" by E.J. Cooperman. I am currently reading it. I love it so far. : )
