Well, I already read ABraham Lincoln about a year ago so I would have to skim it again,,though I really loved it. I'm definitely going to read CAressed by NIght,,,so either is good for me.

Yeah price does play a major factor. Thankfully I got it through Amazon ($16) and then I have "free" shipping because of Prime membership. I'm about a third through and am continuing tonight. Hopefully be finished on Saturday. I think its the longest book yet at 539 pages!

2nd book out in the series Deceptions (he hasnt added it yet) is out on the 15th of April! He is a member of our group and i think we should get his name out there because origins was a truly fabulous read!!!

Lets put our thinking caps on and come up with a contest idea that will blow his socks off!

Trivia sounds great! We could do an author trivia? Like have different quotes or phrases from a series- all from the same author? IDK, I'm just throwing stuff out there.

I like the idea of using quotes but it probably shouldn't be just from one author as that would give an unfair advantage to some readers and possibly dissuade others from participating if they're unfamiliar with the series.

I might be re-thinking the contest idea. The scavenger hunt might be a better idea if we want to get member involvement up. We could make it specific to our group page where they would have tp search specific threads to find the answer to the questions. This could get them reading threads and wanting to respond.

I'm also fine with the trivia (since that was my idea) but just wanted to throw that comment out there.

Sorry...been busy the last few weeks. State testing has finally ended and 4th quarter is offically half way over. This past week was Sunfest ( 5 days of sun, beer, and music). So now school is officially winding down (21 more school days!) and then I'll really be able to be active again.
