Fritz Franke | 4 comments Howdy - I'm looking for reviewers for The Chosen One from The Savior Project series. www.saviorproject.com

It is a fantasy/sci-fi/romance combo. It is grounded on Earth so it's not an 'in-your-face' type story with all sorts of strange things happening.

Here are the Goodreads reviews so far - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...

... and here are the Amazon reviews - http://www.amazon.com/THE-CHOSEN-SAVI...

Here's a little bit about the book -

"You are about to read about places and events where everything known about fantasy and science fiction has collided, creating a whole new reality …
… where there is life throughout the universe … and on our Moon.

They are hidden from view, observing, protecting, and influencing us. Those who have watched over us have raised one of ours, as one of theirs. He lives amongst us. Formidable is an understatement. He will lead us from the path of destruction and teach us how to fight those that hunt us.

They have created our Savior and he will unify us.

You’ve heard of him. You might even know him. He was carefully selected for this. His name is Chris Gates and he is the Savior Project. But soon they will be coming for him.

Now there is a book that explains how it all began and was kept a secret for 50 years. The first book from the Savior Project series, The Chosen One, charts the covertly trained life of Chris Gates from his birth in 1966 to 2012. From childhood to baseball star to U.S. senator, his life unfolds on Earth as it is guided, shaped, and rescued by ‘those who have watched over us.’

While The Chosen One can be read as a standalone novel, it is part of the six-book series called The Savior Project. The rest of the series reveals Gates’ trials and journeys after extraction and his ultimate return to Earth.

Please shoot me an email if you are interested: fritz@fritzfranke.net

Thanks so much and have a great day,
Fritz Franke

Aderonke Moyinlorun | 2 comments I am looking for book reviewers to review my novel, No Regrets. It is fairly new, just recently published. I'll include a blurb here, please message me if you're interested.

Young, naïve, Dami Edun, can only dream of becoming a star, until she finds herself in the United States, a country that she thinks gives equal opportunity to everyone. Dami discovers the myth the hard way. The US is not what she had believed it was. Opportunity is not equal, after all. Now she has to learn to survive.
When she makes a difficult choice and becomes a stripper, Dami’s life changes forever. Dami must prove to herself, her mother, her love, Nicholas Keller, and to some other foes that she is capable of being a better person. Will she escape a life defined by terrible mistakes or will she be one of the millions of people in the world who never achieve their dreams?

Mindy (Boyer) Larson | 11 comments Hey! My name is Mindy Larson. Nice to be here :) I am looking for readers willing to review my book. I am an indie author in the very early phase of the release of my novel, This Morning I Woke Up Dead. Thanks so much for your time and interest and have a great day!

Mindy

This Morning I Woke Up Dead
Things are seemingly perfect for Hadley Christensen and Dominic Morris. They’re engaged, both of them have promising careers in the medical field, and they’re happier and more fulfilled than they have ever been. When Hadley heads off to work one morning, she realizes things aren't as they seem. While staring into the headlights of a fast approaching oncoming vehicle, life as she knows it is forever altered. Her last breath on Earth is only the beginning.

She isn't about to die.

She is already dead.

No one else knows but they are all dead too.

This powerful realization forces Hadley to leave Dominic behind and exist in another realm. Neither soul handles the painful separation well, nor can their bond be broken. Even in death. Hadley is given the rare privilege to make contact from the other side, desperately hoping to convince her beloved of his true state and ensure they be together once more.

This Morning I Woke Up Dead takes you on a journey of discovery as two souls fight against their undeniably difficult situation of being tormented and separated by different realms of existence, proving that those who are destined to be together will not be kept apart by a beating heart.

Chani (tempestchani) | 89 comments Hi everyone! Just wanted to tell you all about my new Teen Paranormal book, Unhinged! I'm willing to give away 20 ebook copies in exchange for reviews, so if interested private message me! Please go check it out! Here's a blurb:

Spencer Perry lost everything the day her boyfriend died. Even when he came back as a ghost, she was never able to return to her old self. Determined to find a way to bring both of them back--him from the dead and her from her depression--Spencer hops a ride with a Reaper across the river to the Underworld where she meets the god of the dead. Hadrian isn't what she expected Hades to be like, but when he agrees to a deal that can get her Micah back, she puts all caution aside and accepts. Too bad she didn't realize that she'd also just accepted a lot more than one gorgeous yet frustrating god. Bad things are happening all around her, and now she not only has to worry about keeping Micah's ghost status a secret from their friends, but also figure out who's behind all of the accidents. All signs point towards Hadrian, but something about that just doesn't feel right to her. Something that she hopes has nothing to do with her growing attraction towards him.

Shewanda Pugh | 2 comments Looking for reviews for my women's fiction/romance series Crimson Footprints. The blurbs and contact info can be found below:

Crimson Footprints
When an insecure woman begins a cloak-and-dagger love affair with a Japanese American man, she is intent on keeping her bigoted family in the dark albeit with devastating consequences. On the night of her brother's murder, Deena Hammond stumbles upon Takumi Tanaka, lost and on the wrong end of a .32. After rescuing him from the certain fate driving through the hood in a Porsche will bring, a sweet kind of friendship begins. A balm for her grief. Maybe, Deena likes to think, it happened the day her white mother killed her black father. Or maybe, it was always a part of them, like DNA gone bad. Whatever the case, Deena knows that her family would never approve, hell, never acknowledge her fast-growing love for Takumi. And had he never made love to her that way, in that unraveling, soul-searching sort of way, she could've done the same. But loves a devil that way. So, their game begins. One where they hide what they are from everyone. Anyone. And Tak understands this for now. After all, Deena's career hinges on the favor of her mentor and boss, his hard-ass of a father. And the Hammond family is already stretched thin with grief. Yet, each step Deena takes toward family and career brings her closer to an acceptance shes never had. And away from him.

Crimson Footprints II: New Beginnings
An eleven-year-old boy hitchhikes 1500 miles from Bismarck to Miami; a prostitute yearns for escape from a prison of her own making, and the horrible secrets of a long-ago murder are unraveled in the shadows of one woman's dreams. Lizzie Hammond is an ill-fated whore that believes in little, save her own ultimate demise. Kenji Tanaka is a pseudo-architect, content to hide in the shadows of his family's overwhelming success. Neither can stand the other. But the appearance of a boy only rumored to be true helps them discover that two unlikely halves can fit together as the perfect whole. For Lizzie Hammond and Kenji Tanaka, redemption is found in the most unlikely of places: each other, even as the world around them disintegrates.

Amber (unchangeling) | 6 comments Looking for something fun to read? I write stories of deep, meaningful fun.

My first book released is a novella:

_ _ _ ______

After coming home from a monotonous office job to the apartment where she lives alone, thirty-something Abigail Watson is having a tough day in a hard week in a rotten month, and don’t even get her started on the year. Until that night when something wonderfully impossible shows up at her door and rings the bell insistently.

You’re not supposed to answer the door late at night to strangers who come knocking unannounced, right?

Right. But Abigail does.

Because how can you be scared of someone with translucent wings like those of a dragonfly?

WHAT THE FAERIES LEFT BEHIND is an urban fairy tale ‘antidote’ to those times when the dullness and drudgery of grown-up life seems inescapable, and to the misconception that wonder and play are just for children.

Deborah Hi there!

I just released my book, The Smartest Girl in the Room, last month. It's a combination of Romance and Chick Lit. Not speculative at all. Because of the age range of the characters and the challenges they work around, it's also in the New Adult category.

I am looking for people who can review this, preferably on Amazon, but also venues are welcome as well. If you are interested, please send me an email at dnamkrane@gmail.com

Danielle-Claude Mba | 12 comments This Could Have Been Our Song! A Coulda Woulda Shoulda Ballad

Hi everyone,

I'm currently giving away 32 copies (first come, first serve). All I ask is an honest review in return in Goodreads and Amazon.com

" Love can be such a “coulda, woulda, shoulda” song sometimes… discover the new exciting chicklit saga about love, dance and music… in no particular order!

Lucia Mpobo-Riddell could have been a dancer like the rest of women of her family but instead she chose music. Marcus Grant could have been a doctor like the rest of his family but instead he chose music. She also could have not fallen for Marcus on her birthday but she did. And Marcus, he could have told Lucia the truth about his real reason for being in Toronto that night, but he didn’t. Now they have to deal with big reveals and consequences: Marcus almost stealing her job and being force to work on an album together. Marcus, because he couldn’t swallow his pride, leave Toronto and go home to London. Lucia, because she just couldn’t give up on her first amazing opportunity to produce a whole album. And to complicate the situation further, the band they’re working for is not the easiest one. Mary Gillis, Marcus’ on and off flame, still has a hold on him. Greg McMullen, Lucia’s close friend and former dance partner is back in town and has been in love with her for years. Then there’s Marcus and Lucia, in the middle of their own a professional and personal tug-of- war with each over and the rest of the world. But maybe things could still work out… All things considered, this could have been one heck of a love song!

Hi everyone!
I would like to ask for reviews of my latest inspirational nonfiction book, DISOWNED A Journey of Transformation from Abandonment to Healing.

Book Description:
Trying to heal from a broken relationship with a family member or friend?

Although it may have been years since a relationship has been broken, you can heal from it starting today. And even if the broken relationship does not resolve itself, you can discover a better and healthier place within yourself which will enable you to develop more successful relationships with others going forward in your life.

When you are in a state of abandonment resulting from being separated from a loved one, you are overwhelmed with a rollercoaster of emotions. Working through the stages of grief you can begin to define a new sense of self and find the way toward healing yourself and possibly the broken relationship.

In this book, DISOWNED: A Journey of Transformation from Abandonment to Healing, author Teresa Morrow, shares her experiences toward healing after her father disowned her for dating an older man from another race. Devastated by the disownment, she chronicles her journey going through the stages of grief where she discovered new things about herself she never knew existed; self-love, courage and support within herself.

While going through her journey of transformation, Author Teresa Morrow discovered she needed to heal her past of failed relationships and the beliefs she was taught growing up. She immersed herself in self-love in order to grow and heal from the disownment from her father. She also guides the reader through a set of inspired action exercises after each chapter assisting the reader to help work through and toward his or her own healing.

This book also offers helpful reminders on how to:

~work through anger during a confrontation
~find the importance of self love in your relationships
~live more from your authentic self
~release the grip of having to be right

~and much more…

Please email me at teresa@teresamorrow.com if you are interested in doing a book review or book spotlight.

Thank you for your interest in helping spread the word about my book.

Wayzgoose Press | 9 comments Looking for reviewers for the first one or two books of a new fantasy/sci-fi action series. Book 1 is published, but both Books 1 and 2 are available for review (ebook only at this time; paperbacks to follow in a few weeks).

We're hoping for reviewers who:

1) Have an Amazon account as well as a Goodreads account (it is FINE to post on the review there that you received a complimentary copy in exchange for a frank review)

2) Have reviewed at least some books before, either on Goodreads or Amazon. Book bloggers are especially welcome, and we could provide giveaway copies if your blog receives a reasonable amount of reader traffic.

3) Read and enjoy books in this genre.

4) Would be interested in reviewing both books. However, if you do not like the first book, we would not expect you to forge ahead with the second. ;) If, in fact, you do not enjoy the first book after a few chapters, and would like to not finish it/not review it, that's fine too (nobody should have to finish a book they don't like), but we'd appreciate being notified of your decision in that case.

The first book (which definitely works as a stand-alone):

"The Devil's Concubine", by Jill Braden (approx. 74,000 words)
QuiTai, ruthless concubine of Levapur's mysterious crime lord, the Devil, receives an unexpected invitation to cocktails with disgraced Thampurian Kyam Zul. She doesn't trust Kyam enough to drink anything he pours, and won't help him no matter how hard he begs – or threatens. But when QuiTai's ex-lover is murdered, Kyam is the only one who knows the name of the killer, and he won't tell QuiTai unless she helps him first. The torpid back alleyways of Levapur's tropical colony hide more than lovers. There are things with claws, beings with venomous fangs, and spies lurking in the jungle. Most of them want to keep their secrets. One wants QuiTai dead.

Amazon link: (note that price will go up to 3.99 in a week; review copies are, of course, free of charge): http://www.amazon.com/The-Devils-Conc...

The second book picks up where "The Devil's Concubine" left off:
"The Devil Incarnate", by Jill Braden (approx. 83,000 words)
There’s no rest for the wicked, especially for the Devil. While QuiTai recovers from her last adventure, Levapur is turning into a police state. The Pongonese are pushed to the brink of rebellion against their colonial masters, the Thampurians – but who is behind it, and why? As the new Devil, QuiTai must wield her power and use her brilliant mind to outsmart her mysterious nemesis before a bloody uprising erupts.

For Advance Review Copies, we can offer a .pdf or your choice of e-reader format (.mobi, .epub, etc.). Will include cover art and maps. May include a stray typo still, although of course we hope not! But please understand these are pre-release copies. Paperbacks will be available upon publication, but not for Advance Review Copies. However, interested reviewers who can only accept paperbacks could ask to receive a review copy in the future.

Open for review requests until mid-May.

Email editor at wayzgoosepress dot com with "Devil Review" in the subject line.

Jennifer Moreland (jmoreland77) | 1 comments Hi! Excited to share the first of my short fiction series:

A Time Travel Memoir, Story 1 -- Between Time and the Stars: What happens when a capable Time Traveler is pulled out of time entirely? Can she find her way home, or will she be lost somewhere between time and the stars? Leaving Traces is a series of complete short fiction stories chronicling the adventures and chance encounters that make up the life of a Time Traveler. Like memories, each adventure is a little different: Some have an overlay of romance, some have hints of magic, others are sweet and simple stories of lives found and lost across the years. Told in the style of a travelogue or a short memoir, each story has a beginning and an end but contains threads that connect to create a broader picture.

Read it free for a limited time at www.smashwords.com/books/view/311242!

If you enjoy Leaving Traces: Between Time and the Stars, please look for the next adventure in May of 2013.

Here's a little excerpt:

"We’d been quiet for several seconds when we finally passed beneath the first luminous sphere. In the throes of sudden bravery, I stopped directly beneath it and looked up into its blazing center, watching light and dark patches flare and ebb across a translucent surface.

'It looks like a small sun,' I said, reaching one hand up to see if it radiated heat. 'And those shapes and shadows moving in it almost look like faces.'

I was a good five feet below it, well out of stroking range on my own. But as I watched, it began to change, pushing a fat tentacle of light toward my open palm like a proud horse deigning to bend its neck. I stretched my fingers and lifted to my toes, taut as a guitar string, strumming with anticipation."

25 years later Nylana is sent on a mission to a neighboring kingdom where she is rescued from slavery by her lost brother. Reunited they travel back to Tesnayr and find that barbarians have invaded from the north and the alliances between the five lands are strained once again. But all is not as it seems as something elusive and more sinister taunts them.&lt

Can Galdin and Nylana solve this mystery and save the lands of Tesnayr?

Dystopia Dystopia by Janet McNulty

In the distant future the United States has been split into two regions separated by a barren wasteland; this is the country of Dystopia. Here the individual is discouraged, freedom is an illusion, food is rationed, and everything you do is tracked by a chip implanted in your arm. This is Dana Ginary’s world.

At age seventeen, people receive their career assignments chosen for them by a government body. Forced to work at the Waste Management Plant because she was declared too individualistic, Dana finds herself surrounded by death and brutality. Knowing her days are numbered, she looks for a way to leave the plant before she, too, becomes one of its causalities.

It is then she meets a man named George and soon finds herself caught up in a cat and mouse game between the resistance and the Dystopian government. Dana finds herself faced with an agonizing choice of whom she will betray and whom she will save: her friend George, her parents, or herself.

Unless publishers/authors also live and stock their books in the Philippines, surely you can appreciate that it is expensive to mail something like a book.

However, if you are for some reason unable to read ebooks, you would have a better chance of attracting people who'd be willing to make the investment if your Goodreads profile weren't set to "private." If you had a public profile, publishers and authors could see what sorts of genres you read, what sorts of books you like, what your reviews look like, etc., and might be more willing to spend the money. Just a suggestion.

H.S. St.Ours (hs_stours) | 3 comments I have written a young adult sci-fi adventure series and hope someone'll be kind enough to take a look and consider giving an honest review. I can offer sets of books 1, 2 and 3 in EPUB or MOBI formats to anyone interested. Email me at "hsstours" at "me" dot com.

Below is a brief description of each of the first 3 books in the series. Young Moon, book 1 of the Water Worlds Series, has been getting some very kind reviews on Amazon, at 4.8 of 15 reviews. Sami, book 2, has garnered a 4.3 on 11 reviews, and Simma, book 3, was released just a few weeks ago. My blog and book Web site are at:

Thank you for your time!

------------------

Young Moon (Water Worlds, #1) by H.S. St.Ours

Young Moon's father was Chinese on his mother’s side, and he could go on and on talking about the miraculous accomplishments of the great Chinese people. Her father said more than once that they were among the most blessed and privileged of nations. After all, they had dozens of astronauts -- yuhangyuans -- in orbit and on the Moon, and there was a small base on Mars, too, being built by robots. Even bigger stations, the ring cities, were planned.

Young Moon used to get uncomfortable and wished he would lower his voice. Their walls were thin in Wonsan and school taught her that this kind of talk was treason. Teacher said the Dear Leader would know if you didn’t pay proper respect to the glories of the Homeland, and he could get very cross with you if he found out. Every screen was two-way and you never knew if someone was watching.

All she wanted was to be left alone to talk to the visions in her drawings -- visions that came to warn her of impending danger. But a chance word spoken by an angry classmate would force Young Moon's family to flee North Korea for China, where she would witness her father set in motion a world-shaking disaster of epic proportions.

Sami (Water Worlds, #2) by H.S. St.Ours

Fifteen-year-old Sami wasn’t born in the tunnels. She's traveled all over, even as far as the Northern caves beyond Eastport. Only nobodies went farther than that. Story was, there were towns beyond the Dustbowl, but most folk thought that was just stories.

It’s been almost a century since the sky fell and the world broke apart in a day, and still the people spent their whole lives underground, either in the Five Tunnels, or in the caves, shielded by living stone.

Sami’s mom and dad are long since dead, and her friends, Sef and Glyn, vanished without a trace, over a year ago, or were chased from the tunnel by the Judge. Now her dearest pal, Simma, was leaving, too, to live under the water in tunnel Tee Two, with her mom and her mom’s new boyfriend.

She used to feel safe in the tunnels. Used to feel at home. But now, she wasn’t so sure. There was something in the air. Her only friend left was her dog Scout, a tunnel stray who adopted her over a year ago. And old Miz Murphy, of course, who lived in the hovel below her, deep down in Far Northend, the oldest dig in Tee Four.

For decades, crowds of people have waved through the tunnels, following the green arrows, pushing up and out Eastport, heading North. They heard the air was better there, and most didn’t like the tunnels one bit anyway. But now, nobodies and someones alike were disappearing, and voices came to her in the dark, warning her of a great danger to come.

In an adventure of courage and hope, Sami seeks answers and uncovers a mystery that spans worlds.

From the Amazon reviews:
5 Stars. "Sami is a smart, engaging adventure in a post-apocalyptic near-future."
4 Stars. "Like ‘Wool’ this book develops characters that you'll want to hear more about. Buy it, read it, enjoy."
5 Stars. "Even more enjoyable than the first volume. I can't wait for the third in the series."
5 Stars. "Sami" drew me in immediately and I read the entire book IN ONE SITTING - I could not tear myself away."
5 Stars. "I can hardly wait for the sequel!"

Simma (Water Worlds, #3) by H.S. St.Ours

Simma was sure she'd never see Sami again. Sef or Glyn, either. She'd left Sami standing in the middle of the street in First Right nearly a year ago, and the boys had vanished without a trace long before that, or were chased from the tunnel by the Judge.

Living under the water in tunnel Tee Two, with her mom and her mom’s boyfriend, Namid, frightened Simma no end. Any moment, she felt, the walls would split and the whole of the mile-wide river would rush in and drown her. Namid said she'd outgrow it but she was nearly sixteen and this feeling of dread only deepened in her.

Then Sami came, as if in a dream, and told her to run!

Through a catastrophe brought on by the sabotage of the hated Judge Trapmann, Simma falls in with a crowd of survivors bent on revenge against his cannibal army. Simma liked a good fight, especially when it meant bringing down a bully, but Sami told her to push on, and it was up to Simma to warn the Twelve Towns. War was coming and worlds were at stake!

Simma is a story of courage and discovery in an age of reconstruction, and is book 3 in the Water Worlds young adult science fiction adventure series.

Jay Phillips | 2 comments Hi everyone: I am in need of reviews on both Goodreads and Amazon for my book Kingdom of Heroes. It is a Fantasy/ Superhero/ Mystery (I know, it's a lot of slashes). Here's the blurb:

Years ago, a gene virus ran rampant across the planet, leaving a small percentage of people gifted/ cursed with extraordinary abilities and humanity itself forever changed. Suddenly, there were people with super strength and speed, people who could read minds, people who could teleport themselves from place to place with but a single thought.

Several of these people joined together to form The Seven, the most powerful group of supers the world had ever known. Led by the enigmatic Agent America, The Seven kept the country safe from threats both foreign and internal. That is until the United States government decided the threat of the supers outweighed any protection they could offer.

After a war between the super powered and the normals (as non-powered humans are now referred), The Seven have placed themselves as the nation's rulers, controlling the country through fear and intimidation. But now, someone or something is murdering The Seven one-by-one, single handedly attempting to make them pay for all of the sins they have committed.

To stop a killer, The Seven turn to a man who hates them as much as anyone. An imprisoned man known only as The Detective finds himself in the unenviable position of helping the people he despises in exchange for his freedom.

If anyone is interested, just email me at jmp2y@hotmail.com, and I can provide either a .mobi or PDF version.

Thanks in advance.

Yet she hadn't counted on her boss being so straight out sexy, and far too observant for her peace of mind. Now, how can she possibly distract him from looking closely at what she's up to - and satisfy her own desire to have him naked in her bed?

J. (jdanielbatt) | 2 comments Good day. I'm Jason Batt, the author of The Tales of Dreamside series. I’d like to request a review of my book. If you're interested, please e-mail me at jason@jdanielbatt.com

Keaghan in the Tales of Dreamside is a middle-grade children’s fantasy book published by StoryJitsu.

The book’s blurb is: “A World of Adventure is Just a Dream Away.” The book, Keaghan in the Tales of Dreamside, tells the story of a young boy that discovers a world full of strange creatures inside his own home. Keaghan must journey through Dreamside, a strange world of twisting hallways, a labyrinth just beyond the walls of every home. Keaghan will discover that he is the Boy at the End and the only one capable of saving the world of Dream from the invading Cra-gin and their horde of ravaging Tomsi. Keaghan in the Tales of Dreamside was written for children between third and sixth grades but Batt says he's had many adults e-mail saying they "absolutely loved reading it themselves." Kirkus Reviews describes Keaghan in the Tales of Dreamside: "This is a phenomenally imaginative series, with a strong, relatable child protagonist, collected in this handsome, beautifully illustrated edition. It can also be appealingly dark, with eerie fairy-tale motifs . . . overall, an original, entertaining YA fantasy."

I can provide the book in PDF, MOBI, or EPUB versions if needed. I also have a few paperback versions of the book if a mailing address is provided. I also have a couple of Audible download codes if preferred as well.

I've included a list of links below. I've also included a copy of the press release that provides some background in the creation of the book.

Let me know if you’d be interested in reviewing Keaghan in the Tales of Dreamside.

Thanks,

Jason
