Marisette Burgess | 20 comments Hi Everyone!

I am looking for reviewers interested in reviewing the first book in my series, Men of the Cave.

It's a YA Paranormal Romantic Adventure. Men of the Cave (Symbol of Hope #1) by Marisette Burgess
Raised by unorthodox parents, Kasey Reese has always struggled to be invisible, to not be noticed, to avoid conflict. Running from a broken relationship, Kasey flees to Spain on a scholarship, to restore the comfort she finds in anonymity. Destiny, however, has other plans for her - a life threatening, life-altering journey into the supernatural when she meets the men of the cave.

If you are interested in reviewing Men of the Cave please send me your e-mail along with your preferred e-book format through a Goodreads message. In the Subject line put: Requesting Review of Men of the Cave

The second book in the series, Jar of Pandora comes out November 1st so I am asking that reviews be posted before then if possible. I would also ask that if you are able to post a review on Amazon, I would appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch!

Happy Reading,
Marisette Burgess

Chani (tempestchani) | 89 comments Hi everyone! Just wanted to let people know my book, The Coven: Uninvited, is available for FREE at smashwords.com! It's a teen paranormal/fantasy, and please anyone who reads don't forget to leave an honest review! Here's a blurb and a link:

There were twelve founding families in all. Six of them left. Six of them stayed.

Caley Leora is a witch. Has been her whole life. Sometime's, she regrets living on Wes Melas, an island where everyone knows who she is, and what she is. But for the most part, even with the demon's and the spirits, she likes her life, especially since she's just recently been appointed head of her coven. Suddenly, though, her world's flipped upside down with the arrival of six new families, or old families, and they have a coven as well. And they are not alone. Now, Caley's got to struggle between her attractions to Shia, this new coven's leader, and Bane who everyone tells her is evil. Not only that, but there's a killer on the island, hell bent on taking over.

Can Caley and the others put aside their differences, and their families pasts, in order to save their home, and possibly the world? Separate, they aren't nearly strong enough, but together, they can form the most powerful sect of witches on the planet. They can form The Coven.

Elly Helcl (ellymae) | 4 comments I have a series that I am working on releasing that I would like to find reviewers for...
My issue is finding someone who accepts all of the different content of the book.
1. My book contains a few (short) rape scenes...one also involves torture...but it is absolutely necessary to the book.
2. It is a fantasy romance series...with a twist.
3. I need honest reviewers...not people who want to do review swaps. That is kind of frowned upon.

If you are interested, you can take a look at the book here...Tia's Folly : The Path to Destiny.

And you can contact me at ellymae71281@yahoo.com

Thanks!

H. Dickson (hleightondickson) | 1 comments Hey folks,

I have two books up on Amazon right now, "To Journey in the Year of the Tiger" and "To Walk in the Way of Lions." Both have many 5 star reviews so far but I'd love some more! If you'd like to help me out, let me know and I can tell you when the next KDP free promo is, or I can gift you a copy now! Here's a sneak peek:

Kirin Wynegarde-Grey is a young man with a big job – Captain of the Personal Guard of Empress Thothloryn Parillaud Markova Wu, in a Kingdom that spans from the mountains of western China to the deserts of the Middle East. He adheres strictly to the Bushido, the Way of the Warrior and he prides himself on his position, running the guard in a precise, orderly fashion. However, while his professional life is on track, his personal life is a mess, with a rebellious brother, a dangerous adjutant, a suspicious court and a love that is forbidden. When a threat to the Empire threatens to overthrow everything that is safe and known and ordered, he must lead a team that includes both his brother and his adjutant, along with three other radically different and unnerving ‘specialists’. He quickly finds himself out of his league, both physically and emotionally, but for such an ordered and disciplined soul as his, this might not be such a bad thing…

For Kirin Wynegarde-Grey is a lion, in a world where humans are legend and animals walk like men. His is a Dynasty of cats, of lions and tigers, leopards and cheetahs, embracing and blending the cultures of Dynastic China, Ancient India and Feudal Japan. Half feline, half human, this is a world that has evolved on the heels of the fall of human civilization in a blend of science, fantasy and zoological speculation.

This is the journey of six individuals as they travel beyond the edges of the known Empire, into lands uncharted and wild. But the dangers do not only lie in the unknown lands, for there are those in the government who do not wish their mission to succeed. Theirs is a journey of magic and mystery, science and swords, romance and intrigue. It is a journey of different perspectives and unexpected kharma and love found in surprising places. It is a journey that takes place five thousand years or so in the future, naturally in the Year of the Tiger.

Cheers,

H. Leighton Dickson

My first book, A Night in the House is a collection of horror stories and has been published through Amazon Kindle Store. A brief synopsis:

'A Night in the House is a collection of eight horror stories, set in the background of different towns and cities of India. There are stories set in the teeming and congested metropolis of Chennai and Pune, as well as lonely villages and forests of Rajasthan and Kerala. There are ghosts and spirits, as well as human folly. There are myths, legends and well, of course, plenty of imagination.'

Scott McCloskey | 3 comments Hello all!

My first novel, The Goldenwealth Light, is a YA piece about high adventure in a fantasy realm. It is told somewhat in the vein of the Neverending story, and features a unique world with a myriad cast of characters. Here is a brief blurb about it:

"What do you do when a magic spell tries to cast YOU?

Join junior high student Theodore Ellsworth as he discovers the cryptic Journal of Ord in the bowels of his school library, and embarks on a fantastic journey to The Gossamer City, capital of the Goldenwealth Light of Quaylund. With a rich cast of dynamic characters set against the backdrop of a unique and detailed fantasy setting, Theo and his sister Marie are thrust into a coming of age story where the fate of an entire world hangs in the balance. Join us for the adventures of the Traveler of Ord!"

The Goldenweatlh Light participated in a successful book promotion recently, but is still in need of reviews! Thus, I would be happy to share a copy with any serious reviewers who are interested in a YA fantasy story for themselves or their children at approximately a 5th-6th grade reading level. A 2+ chapter sample is available at the Amazon link in the beginning of this post. Please send me a message if you are interested.

Robert Renaud | 2 comments Who wants to escape the nine to five workplace and live life again? Of course, the answer is everyone. Yet, in the crowded work-life balance genre there too few books that give a practical formula for the everyday worker to achieve balance in his life. This is truly a pity because millions of workers would love to read about how they can live life more fully and to fulfill their dreams now, all without sacrificing what they currently have.

THE TIME TRADING GURU provides a blueprint to escape the workplace, take life breaks, and to get more out of life. The formula details how to master the levers of life’s principles of time, flexibility, and money, leverage the DREAM process to realize your dreams, and to trade one’s self to a more rewarding life; one full of experiences and relationships and no regrets.

I am looking for people / blogs to review the book. You can reach me at: admin(at)timetradingguru(dot)com

I look forward to hearing from you.

Tara Staley | 7 comments Hi--
I'm going to tack on a request for reviews here as well (thanks for having this thread). My novel NEED TO BREATHE is women's fiction with a paranormal slant. Brief description:

It’s Groundhog Day, 1975, and Claire Harper survives a botched abortion. All Millie Rose can do at first is stare into the blinding lights of the NICU and hear doctors demanding answers about the burns on Claire’s body. Nurses panic, they cry and shout “she’s bradying down!” because, Lord help them, they’ve never seen anything like this.

Neither has Millie. Although she died in childbirth in 1922, she still has a purpose. Her afterlife is filled with missions lasting anywhere from ten minutes to ten years, and she views her newest assignment as a second chance at motherhood. But she's got to act fast because Claire's lungs are weak, her heart rate keeps tanking, and her pH levels are low. The hospital has never had a 26-weeker pull through.

Millie also tries to counsel Claire’s troubled parents, Mick and Manda, through the emotional fallout. They see marriage as the best “band-aid,” but Claire’s birth always haunts them, to the point Manda becomes a chain-smoking pill-popper who paints her house completely white. Mick becomes a reclusive binge-eater who sleeps in the barn. And Claire comes-of-age wondering about it all-- why she’s so sick, why she has scars on her skin, and what’s the secret her parents are keeping?

Finally, there’s a good reason why Millie nudges Claire to find true love years later with the geeky guy down the street. True, Charlie Vance may build his own batteries and dissect dead animals, but his love for Claire drives his decision to attend medical school so he can take care of her the rest of her life.

NEED TO BREATHE takes an unthinkable crisis and turns it into a gripping story filled with sensitivity, hope, beauty…even humor. From the opening chapter, readers will root for Claire’s chance at happiness, for the Harpers to heal, and for Millie’s reconciliation with her own lost motherhood.

It's available in .mobi, EPUB and PDF. Feel free to contact me at tarastaley(at)triad(dot)rr(dot)com. Thanks for considering!

Chani (tempestchani) | 89 comments Hey everyone! My new book, Turn Me On, was just released and I'm looking for reviewers! I'm willing to give away about 20 copies in exchange for an honest review, so if you're interested then send me a private message or leave a comment below! Here's a blurb to see if it's something you might be interested in!

Some people have the ability to walk through the minds of others. While this is happening, the assaulted mind processes the events as actually occurring, which means they can get hurt. Or even killed. Telepathy is well known throughout the world, but no one knows who has it, and who doesn't, not even a telepath themselves. The only way to find out is by being Turned On, an event that only happens when an active T.P has entered the mind of an inactive one. Troy Lexin has been Turned On since he was eight. Stolen from his family in the middle of the night and forced to become a Switch--deadly assassin--Troy's secret goal is to get revenge on the man who did this to him. The plan is going smoothly when he accidentally activates a girl he meets at strip club, who then tells him about a secret weapon the resistance is holding that can somehow block out T.Ps. If the Switches get their hands on the tech, they would become unstoppable, which is why she suggests they take it first. No matter how badly his instincts tell him not to trust her, Troy's attraction to Rayna Kinner is starting to block everything else out. But does is she who she says she is? Or is there a darker secret she's keeping from Troy? One that could not only destroy his plan for revenge, but also the world as he knows it?

Nicolas Wilson | 10 comments My debut novel, Whores , is available on smashwords and amazon, for $.99. I would love to get some more reviews on it; all of the reviews I have are on display on goodreads, but not all of them have been posted on amazon, shelfari, etc. Please contact me to get a reviewer copy, and let me know where you post reviews.

Synopsis: In the near future, women’s rights are eroding, and those who buck the system are hunted as gender criminals by the authorities and rogue militias. This harrowing dystopia is seen through the eyes of a woman cast into a resistance group by circumstance, and a newly minted gender crimes detective tasked with bringing them to justice, as he grapples with whether or not that word still has meaning.

As a warning, Whores contains some mature themes, and graphic violence. I described it, during an interview, as a paramilitary Handmaids Tale.

Fritz Franke | 4 comments The Savior Project - The Chosen One (Book 1) by Fritz Franke Fritz Franke

Greetings, - I would love to get a review of my book - The Chosen One.
Synopsis: You are about to read about places and events where everything known about fantasy and science fiction have collided, creating a whole new reality …
… where there is life throughout the universe … and on our Moon.

They are hidden from view, observing, protecting, and influencing us. Those who have watched over us have raised one of ours, as one of theirs. He lives amongst us. Formidable is an understatement. He will lead us from the path of destruction and teach us how to fight those that hunt us.

They have created our Savior and he will unify us. You’ve heard of him. You might even know him. He was carefully selected for this. His name is Chris Gates and he is the Savior Project. But soon they will be coming for him.

Now there is a book that explains how it all began and was kept a secret for 50 years. The first book about the Savior Project, The Chosen One, charts the covertly trained existence of Chris Gates from his planned birth in 1966 to adulthood. From childhood to baseball star to U.S. senator, his life unfolds on Earth -- guided, shaped, and rescued by “those who have watched over us” -- before he is extracted in 2012. Soon Gates finds himself responsible for saving not only them, but all of mankind as well.

More can be found at www.saviorproject.com

The book came out as an ebook last May and as a paperback last December. I can send the book in whatever format requested:
Paperback, PDF, Android version, or …
ebook from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Apple, Smashwords

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from someone.

Sue Knott (sueknottauthor) | 3 comments Looking for reviewers for the ebook version of "Catching On Fire" by Sue Knott. If you loved or love-hated "Twilight," this book may be for you. It is popular fiction, NOT literary, NOT grammar-y, just fast-moving romance/mystery/adventure -- even a little paranormal and science fiction. It really crosses genres. Here's the official scoop:Visions of a horrific, dystopian future have been tattooed on Rachel's brain for as long as she can remember. She believes the strange symbols attached to those visions are the key to avoiding that future. When she discovers someone else shares the same visions, she dedicates herself to finding other seers and unlocking the mystery of the symbols. Her quest grows in urgency as the present appears to increasingly resemble the path to the future she fears.

During her quest, Rachel discovers that answers -- and love -- are elusive. And people are not always as they appear.

Blurring the line between reality and fiction, this novel combines elements of romance, mystery, intrigue, and science in a way that should appeal to a wide variety of readers.

Margaret Alexander (margaret-e-alexander) I'm looking for book reviewers for an urban fantasy thriller, Shadows of Penumbra. The protagonist is 19, so it's considered New Adult. Here it is on Smashwords.

It's also on Goodreads and Amazon.

I can give out an ebook or paperback, but if you request a paperback, I trust you've read sample chapters and you're serious about reviewing :)

Email me at markedforpower@gmail.com if you're interested.

I'm also a book reviewer, so if you have any YA or NA, check out my review policy.

The Call of Agon (The Children of Telm, #1) by Dean F. Wilson

Title: The Call of Agon: Book One of The Children of Telm
Publisher: Dioscuri Press
Genre: Epic Fantasy
Publication Date: 1 March 2013
Format: Paperback and Kindle

Blurb:

THE LAST LINE. THE LAST WORDS. THE LAST CHANCE.

Ifferon is one of the last in the bloodline of the dead god Telm, who mated with mortal women, and who imprisoned the Beast Agon in the Underworld. Armed with a connection to the estranged gods in the Overworld and a scroll bearing Telm's powerful dying words, he is tasked with ensuring the god's vital legacy: that Agon remain vanquished. Fear forces Ifferon to abandon his duty, but terror restores his quest when the forces of Agon find his hideaway in an isolated coastal monastery.

Weighed down by the worries of the world, but lifted up by the companions he encounters along the way, Ifferon embarks on a journey that encompasses the struggles of many peoples, the siege of many lands, and discoveries that could bring hope to some—or doom to all.

Charlie Wood | 16 comments Hi everyone,

I recently published my YA paranormal romance THE JOURNALS OF KARA AND JASON, and I'd love to trade some free ebooks for reviews here on Goodreads.com and Amazon!

Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17...

Here's the description:

Eighth grade is not going well for fourteen-year-old Kara Bridges. Her best friend Stace has suddenly stopped talking to her, and she is having a hard time adjusting to life without her only real friend.

Luckily for Kara, she soon meets Jason, a foreign exchange student from Europe. And though Jason is more than a little awkward, he and Kara quickly form a friendship, bonding over what it's like to feel like an outsider who doesn't belong.

However, when Jason suddenly returns four years later when Kara is a senior in high school, she realizes not everything was what it seemed. Kara's world—and the way she looks at the world—is about to change forever.

THE JOURNALS OF KARA AND JASON is a 40,000-word novel about being young, falling in love, and all the terrible, wonderful feelings that come along with it.

If you are interested, please either post here or send me a message through Goodreads. Thanks, everyone!

Natalie Gayle (natalie_gayle) | 6 comments Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some reviews for my newly published novel Finding Trust. It's a fast paced romantic suspense, (heavy on the romance), with a little urban fantasy twist. 140K words approx.

I have fifty free copies to giveaway in exchange for an honest review. I would appreciate you only signing up if this is a genre you actually enjoy reading and reviewing.

You should also know the story is set in Australia.

Here's the book blurb:

Finding Trust – Book 1 Centre Games Series

Brayden and Rihanna

He’s hot, sexy, and leads a double life. Sometimes in the limelight, mostly in the shadows. Brayden James holds fast to a secret that’s more than his to share.

She’s a singularly focused veterinarian out for a rare night of fun with friends, at a New Year’s Eve rock concert. Going home with the lead guitarist was furthest thing from Rihanna Mason’s mind when the night began.

When Rihanna inadvertently becomes the target of a deadly terrorist plot using the Hendra virus as a biological weapon, Brayden is forced to reveal his other life. His job is to keep her safe and together they must stop the terrorists before it’s too late. But what happens when she becomes more to him than just the assignment?

Will the secret he cannot disclose ultimately prove too much for Rihanna’s fragile trust in relationships? Or will he finally break through the double brick walls around her heart, where every other man has failed?

If you would like to help me out here, please email me natalie@nataliegayle.com.au or contact me through goodreads and I will return email you with the coupon code so that you can download it from Smashwords for free.

Paul Vanderloos (paulvanderloos) | 1 comments Hi, I need reviews for my fantasy novel series, books 1 and 2 at this stage. They are The Wizard's Sword (available in all ebook formats) and Three Stones of Destiny in Kindle ebook. The first book is about a furry character called Mirrortac who finds a mysterious warrior's sword in the woods and soon after meets with an otherworldly messenger who sets him on a mission to save many worlds. He must traverse much ground and battle dark enemies before completing his mission. The second book leads off from the first, with a new mission to collect three power stones that allow a being to enslave the peoples of three planets. He is branded a traitor, sorcerer and thief by his ancestral people, but finds an unlikely ally coming to his aid. I am launching book 2 this Saturday. I can send both books to reviewers as pdf or Kindle versions. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
