Erica Stinson (goodreadscomerica_r_stinson) | 9 comments Hi Everyone!

Below is an excerpt from my blog in regards to needing beta-readers. Thanks so much for your consideration!

Erica;-)
------------------------------
Hey Gang!

If you want an opportunity to become a beta reader, please sign up below as I am looking for feedback, which is critical to authors everywhere, on my latest book "Company Policy: A Psychological Thriller". You will also be submitted into the pool for future opportunities, as I can only accept a limited number of participants. First come, first serve basically. And believe me, I have writing projects lined up for the next ten years(set in stone), so there will definitely be other chances to become a beta-reader. Please note: on completing the book, you will be required to answer a survey pertaining to the characters, events and other things that may or may not need to be changed before publication. You will also be asked to honestly and constructively critique(or praise ;-)) the book. But seriously, I am looking for serious feedback and critique so that I can provide an enjoyable reading experience for all. And lastly, you will be asked to post reviews on Amazon and/or Goodreads(preferably both) once the book releases(I will be emailing all participants for this event to let them know when this will be). Serious inquiries only, please. The deadline for this event is September 19, 2017 by midnight. Thanks! - Erica

Danny Ramadan (dannyramadan) Hello, please review my novel, The Clothesline Swing, telling a love story of two gay men escaping Syria and becoming refugees before finding a home in Canada.
Email me at DannyRamadan84(at)gmail.com for more information.

The Clothesline Swing is a journey through the troublesome aftermath of the Arab Spring. A former Syrian refugee himself, Ramadan unveils an enthralling tale of courage that weaves through the mountains of Syria, the valleys of Lebanon, the encircling seas of Turkey, the heat of Egypt and finally, the hope of a new home in Canada.

Inspired by Arabian Tales of One Thousand and One Nights, The Clothesline Swing tells the epic story of two lovers anchored to the memory of a dying Syria. One is a Hakawati, a storyteller, keeping life in forward motion by relaying remembered fables to his dying partner. Each night he weaves stories of his childhood in Damascus, of the cruelty he has endured for his sexuality, of leaving home, of war, of his fated meeting with his lover. Meanwhile Death himself, in his dark cloak, shares the house with the two men, eavesdropping on their secrets as he awaits their final undoing.

Lexi Banner (lexi_banner) | 2 comments Hi all! I have a steamy romance that is available for reviewers and readers. The ARC is in PDF format. If you are interested in reading and reviewing for me, please drop me a note, and I will gladly send you a copy!

Gina Winters never thought New York would become dull and routine, but after five years of working a soul-sucking job and struggling through night school, she questions whether her dream is worth the fight. Her romantic life offers no reprieve – thanks to a string of bad dates, she’s given up on men, too.

Saul Henderson clawed his way up the corporate ladder, no matter what the cost to his personal life. The demise of everything else meant nothing in the face of finally getting a corner office on Wall Street with a partner track. Dating is a distraction he can’t afford – not this close to his goal.

When Saul rescues Gina from the terrifying prospect of bad coffee, an undeniable spark flares to life. Will the burnt-out dreamer and the jaded go-getter find more than just attraction to bring them together? Or is this just another empty one-night stand in the making?

L.C. Champlin (lcchamplin) | 4 comments Hi
I'm looking for reviewers for the first book in my Wolves of the Apocalypse series. It's horror/thriller/action/zompoc.
Amazon and Goodreads reviews would be great if you feel like it, but don't feel obligated. You can get a free copy here https://instafreebie.com/free/jttbq until 10/10/17. It goes live on Kindle 10/15/17. You can also email me at contact (at) lcchamplin dot com.
I'd like the reviews before 10/15/17, but I'll take any reviews any time!

Blurb:
Never let a crisis go to waste. Carpe jugulum.

That’s the credo of ambitious New York businessman Nathan Serebus, a man content to consider himself more villain than hero. But that’s before a San Francisco business trip with his attorney Albin Conrad lands them both in the middle of a multiple-target terrorist attack. And before a plague unleashed upon the city transforms its people into monstrous, unthinking cannibals.

As the cannibals turn on civilian and terrorist alike, and San Francisco descends into apocalyptic violence, Nathan and his friends must fight with the brutality and ferocity of wolves in order to survive. Despite Nathan's tenacity, the terrorist mastermind Cheel takes him and his people hostage. But Nathan has always thrived on chaos. As he matches wits with Cheel—a man whose goals may be closer to Nathan’s than he’d like to believe—he finds himself left with a decision: fight his demons or embrace them? Must a villain become a hero to save lives, or is a villain exactly what the apocalypse needs?

His choice will have grave consequences—for him and for all civilization.

Behold Darkness is the first book of LC Champlin’s gritty Wolves of the Apocalypse series. For more information, visit lcchamplin.com

Katie Jaymes | 24 comments Hi
I'm looking for reviewers for a sexy story of mine entitled Shared Desire. It is a slightly paranormal erotic tome and I'd love for anyone to read and review it.
I would be happy to return the favour, dahlinks (kisses).

Shared Desire:
Rachel's gorgeous older cousin Sam is staying for the summer, but there is nothing much to do now that Rachel's mum has dragged her off to live in the middle of nowhere. A visit to a creepy ruined mill turns into a life-changing encounter as the pair discovers the place has a mysterious inhabitant.
Sam has long, jet-black hair, glamour model looks, and the ability to excite any man she cares to. Just as pretty, Rachel lacks her cousin's experience, but is aching to learn. When they find what they are looking for, the girls cannot get enough and return again and again. But when they are warned away on the night of a significant ancient celebration, can they obey and go home with their gifts and memories?
A red-hot coming of age experience awaits, featuring explicit and steamy sex, as the two beautiful young women find the excitement that they crave, with an ending that will satisfy!

The book is published wide already, feel free to leave reviews wherever and whenever. A free copy will be emailed to anyone interested, with the format(s) of their choice.

Thank you so much!
Hugs and Kisses
Katie

The Day of the Summertime Blues

Summary: Ever hear noises when you're feeling sick and in bed? Pete's Dad is off of work today because he is sick. He wants to be outside on a nice summer day but is stuck in bed because of a cold. As he is resting, he starts seeing strange things, like a Lion walking to the pool. Hearing strange sounds, like a Monkey trying to open a refrigerator. Could these things be real or does he just need to go to bed? Read the fourth absolutely "Absurd Adventure of Monkey, Puppy, and Lion: The Day of the Summertime Blues" book!

It's a short read (27 pages). It's a fun book, lots of action, yes ... it's a middle school book, but everyone who has read it so far really enjoys it. Let me know if you're interested and I'll gift you an ebook wither through commenting here or a message.

Silvio, the older brother, a good soccer player, is on the wild side, but has hopes of acquiring a soccer scholarship to a good university. The Botelho family is working hard and all four are achieving the American Dream, even though Silvio gets mixed with the wrong crowd. Suddenly, a tragedy occurs. Will Silvio’s wild side take over? Being Antonio’s only adult relative in the United States, will Silvio drag him to his wild ways? This is a compelling story of a young man trying to achieve his academic and professional goals while surrounded by adversity, drug use, drug dealing, and crime. Will he succeed? Ari Rose | 1 comments Hello!

First just let me say, this looks like a great group! I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

I'm here, like a lot of the other authors looking to beef up the reviews for their books. I've just published a short story omnibus on Amazon.com:

I've been able to get a few positive reviews already (10 reviews with an average 4.9 rating) but, was really hoping to crush it by getting a ton early on.

Your help and honest reviews could really make the difference in this book's success!

If you're into P.I. mysteries or love a strong female lead than this series might be the one for you! I'm willing to give away as many ARC's as possible. I work out of bookfunnel so whichever format you need or eReader you use there shouldn't be a problem getting you a copy.

If you'd like to be on my advanced reader team you can head over to:  https://dl.bookfunnel.com/vw405fkxjs

Alternatively, if you don't want to sign up but, would still like to review this bundle email me at email@timelypublishing.com to request your copy.

This omnibus is about 130,000 words including the first 13 stories in The Jill Hunter Short Story Series . I'm hoping readers are able to post their reviews within 2-4 weeks after download on Amazon.com.

Thanks so much everyone!

Melanie Lageschulte Hello everyone, I'd like to round up more Goodreads/Amazon reviews for my two novels:
"Growing Season" and its sequel, "Harvest Season"
Growing Season a novel by Melanie Lageschulte Harvest Season a novel by Melanie Lageschulte

They are heartwarming women's fiction titles. Here's the synopsis for "Growing Season," the first book:

Melinda Foster is already at a crossroads when the “for rent” sign beckons her down a dusty gravel road. Facing forty and downsized from her copywriting job at a Twin Cities ad agency, Melinda is struggling to find her way forward when a phone call brings her home to rural Iowa. It’s not long before Melinda is living in a faded farmhouse, caring for a barn full of animals, and working at her family’s hardware store in the community of Prosper, whose motto is “The Great Little Town That Didn’t.” And just like the vast garden she tends under the summer sun, Melinda soon begins to thrive. Filled with memorable characters, from a big-hearted farm dog to the weather-obsessed owner of the local co-op, “Growing Season” celebrates the challenges and joys of rural life.

Formats available are EPUB, MOBI and PDF. Email me at fremontcreekpress@gmail.com if you are interested. No deadline on these, as the books are out and doing well! Just would love to boost the number of reviews.

Abby Wheeler | 3 comments Maybe It's Magic: A Stand-Alone Friends-To-Lovers Romance

Do you like romantic comedies? Specifically, do you like romantic comedies that contain that moment when two best friends become something more and where there also might be a light paranormal aspect and a few twists along the way? Do you like ones you can read in roughly 2.5 hours?

If you were nodding along with all or most of that, then you just might like my novella, Maybe It's Magic.

The humor is high, the angst is low-to-mild. Why, all 3 of my reviewers on Amazon seem to agree it's funny and sweet. They've failed to mention that it's smutty, so I'll just make sure you know that here: It's smutty. Don't get me wrong, it's not erotica level smutty, but there are scenes where people gleefully do things to each others' naughty bits.

Jake: college junior; linebacker; desperately likes to think he's an alpha, but is actually a big softie; just a hot, lovable goofball who, up till now, has resisted realizing his BFF is female. Well, not that he hasn't noticed, but he respectfully tries not to; would do anything for Molly.

Molly: college junior; communications major; the brains of the operation; destined to be his bestie from the womb; so mutually codependent that they go to college together; might have well-hidden feelings for our hero; enjoys bossing our hero around (which he thinks he's a damned saint for putting up with); would do anything for Jake, even "help" him in his efforts toward other women.

Juliet: The other woman; over-achiever; spoiled, but sweet; knows she's beautiful and tolerates the consequences/reaps the rewards; not a bitch, though, I swear. You'll see.

Patience: An old hippie who sells supposedly magic crystals; she's pretty grounded, even with her chosen area of expertise; gives our hero the macguffin that starts off the whole ball of wax.

The Plot in a nutshell: A crystal that may or may not possess magic properties is supposed to help our hero get the girl of his dreams, but has the unfortunate side-effect of attracting him to his best friend.

So there it is. If you think that sounds like a fun romp, then feel free to contact me for a free copy. As of now, I have an epub, but can (in theory) convert to another format. It's also free on Kindle Unlimited if you're able to read there. Would definitely love more KU reads.

I'm happy with it, but I'd love more reads and reviews. :)

Dancing with Fey:
When sixteen-year-old Jade Fayette was brought to Evahlyna's School for the Gifted and Talented, after being orphaned at a young age, she thought her whirlwind of an existence would finally come to a screeching halt. Even though the school's main requirement for entry is basically being a juvenile delinquent, Jade attempts to remain positive. She settles in to her class schedule, flashes her innocent smile at her teachers while batting her eyelashes to maintain her grades, and causes a little trouble here and there to keep life interesting. Jade even manages to meet Benjamin Tran, a genius that doubles as her best friend. They pass the dreary time within the school walls by computer hacking, reading comics, and playing too many video games.

Just when everything seems to be going perfectly, students begin disappearing from the school in the dead of the night, never to be heard from again. One evening, Jade hears an eerily beautiful song played upon a fiddle drifting through the looming trees outside the iron gates of the school. She can't help but feel a haunting and insistent pull from the tune. When she follows the call of the music she discovers that the students are being hypnotized by the sorrowful song and lead off into the night by stout hairy faerie men called Brownies. Shocked and horrified by what she discovers, Jade literally falls into the arms of Christopher Knight, a man who is as mysterious and intriguing as he is ruggedly handsome. Jade, determined to discover his connection to the disappearances, convinces Christopher to reveal that a centuries old war between the ruling sisters of the faerie realm, the Seelie Queen, Divanyah, and the Unseelie Queen, Sylestiana are to blame. Jade isn't sure if he is insane, or if he makes perfect sense.

Within two days of meeting Christopher, Jade and Benjamin are thrust into the nebulous, gritty, and treacherous world of the Fey. Trying to navigate through otherworldly politics and mysticism, while staying true to their friendship proves to be nearly impossible as Jade discovers that she belongs more in the faerie realm than she ever could have dreamed. Meanwhile, Benjamin struggles to come to terms with the knowledge that Jade's unrequited love has found a new avenue in Christopher.

Sylestiana, hell-bent on punishing her sister, and taking control of the faerie realm in order to unleash her evil faeries on the unsuspecting mortal world plays the enchanting song that attracts the desperate youth to her intoxicating faerie dance. Once the young mortals step into her clutches they are turned into golden soldiers who become mindless minions within her army. With Sylestiana growing ever stronger, and Divanyah moving Jade, Benjamin, and Christopher against her sister like pieces on a chessboard, it becomes clear that Christopher's dark past may hold the key to defeating Sylestiana, saving both realms and finding their salvation.

With love, deception, and power swirling all around them it is up to Christopher, Jade, and Benjamin, the three most unlikely heroes to prevent a faerie war, or else face the wrath of not only Sylestiana, but the spurned Divanyah. Dancing with Fey follows Christopher, Jade, and Benjamin on a journey toward destiny.

Jennifer S. Alderson (jennifesalderson) | 16 comments Hi! My first audiobook came out last month and I'd love to share it with new listeners! If you're interested in reviewing it, I have promo codes for Audible UK and US. Send me a message and I'll get in touch straight away. Here's more information about it:

I am so excited to announce the release of my first audiobook!! The Lover’s Portrait: An Art Mystery is now available on Audible, iBooks and Amazon worldwide!

It’s already WhisperSync ready (meaning if you buy the Kindle version, you can pick up the audiobook for next to nothing). You can also listen to it for free when you sign up for an Audible membership.

You can listen to a sample of narrator Carol Purdom’s smooth voice on Amazon, Audible com, Audible co uk, and iBooks.

I am also thrilled to see two wonderful reviews are already live!

"I listened to this novel as an audio book and I absolutely loved it. Ms Alderson’s descriptions of beautiful Amsterdam and the lovely artworks detailed in the book are superb and were an interesting background for this very exciting thriller." - 5 stars

I am SO happy to see this lovely new review of The Lover's Portrait audiobook!! Thank you for taking the time to post this wonderful review of my art mystery, Robbie Cheadle!

You can read the entire review on her blog:
https://robbiesinspiration.wordpress....

“This book gripped my interest through the entire course of listening to it. I really enjoyed the details of all the research into the provenance of art as well as all the periodic flashbacks to Amsterdam 1942, in the middle of the war. It made the realities of those living through the war become so much more vivid. The details of the characters’ natures came through interestingly as well.

Carol Purdom performs the audio edition of this book and helps to keep the book moving very quickly. She reads in a comfortable voice that enlivens the book and kept me listening nonstop to the book.

I was highly impressed by The Lover’s Portrait. I’m not interested in art in general, but that did not prevent me from being drawn to this book. Further, I only noticed halfway through that this is the second book in a series, but that wasn’t even apparent from the book. I give this incredible book five stars!”

Many thanks to Vicki Mejia-Gewe of FangirlNation for reviewing my new audiobook.

I’m a self-published author and I have recently finished writing my debut novel.

My new book, The Vacation Lodge, is due to be released on February 9th 2018. I’m looking for a few people to read and review my book and would appreciate it if you were able to help with this. This erotic thriller is an instant arouser that tells the tale of Raven, a curious holiday maker, as she sets off in search of a raunchy adventure to remember. When she meets Nelson, a charming fleecer that works at The Vacation Lodge, she is instantly drawn to him. And he's willing to take her on a thrilling ride. Though she is sceptical, she accepts his proposal until she discovers his dirty secret... As her desire for him intensifies, she uses her taste for strong cocktails and chasers to manage her ever-changing emotions. Sebastian Bendix (sebastian_bendix) | 2 comments Hello!

My new YA novel, The Stronghold, is coming out on 12/12/17 and I am looking for a few reviewers. It is a taut actioner that will appeal to fans of military, espionage, and post-apocalyptic thrillers, striking the same chord that resonates in novels such as Lord of the Flies, The Chocolate War and The Hunger Games. However, The Stronghold is a tale that draws from today’s headlines, presenting a chilling future that could be only days – or moments – away.

Following is a synopsis of the book:

18-year-old Bowie is the envy of his peers; the sharpest eye with a rifle, deadly as a viper in hand-to-hand combat, and set to marry the prettiest girl around. Papa Byrne, leader of the Fort Thunder militia, has high hopes for this rising star, sees him as the heir apparent to their Pacific Northwest island stronghold.

That all changes when a plane crashes into the island. Its sole survivor is Alexis, an exotic young woman who looks nothing like the fair-skinned people back at the Fort. Bowie brings her back to the stronghold, throwing the fearful community into chaos. Even his parents worry about what this will mean… All fears are confirmed when an impromptu mission leaves a young cadet dead and Bowie wounded. Worse still, Bowie is being blamed for the death, framed by his former mentor and banished by a hung jury.

The once favored son of Fort Thunder is about to have his eyes opened to the larger world – if he can live long enough to see it.
