Glad you enjoy them. I feel that I change the spoiler each time, as long as someone gets a kick out of it.
This book was so good. It stuck with me and I didn't want to move on to a new book after I was finished. I just kept thinking about Will. And Tessa and Jem too, but mostly just Will ♥
My 12yo daughter and I read this book together. (Actually, she read it first, but then again, she pre-ordered it on Amazon...)She completely hates the ending and I empathize with the three of them. I try to explain (view spoiler)
I can't wait to read the Clockwork Princess. I think I will pre-order it this time and make HER wait until I am finished reading it. Ha!
I was so broken hearted, I couldn't believe (view spoiler).Sooz, I agree about what you say (view spoiler) I think I may have to preorder Clockwork Princess...perhaps a couple different editions to make sure I get all the bonuses.
HiI'm new here. I am a fan of Cassandra Clare stories but I have not read the prequel series. I have to read the first book before this one you're discussing. This only lasts a month, right? I'll see what I can read.
I don't worry much about spoilers myself, but how do you hide words in those ()? Thanx
Don't worry I haven't read the first one either. To do the spoilers just do this:

So excited to start this book!! I'm rereading the first one before I do, but I love Cassandra Clare!
Got a lot of books I need to get through before I can read this, bought it the other day. Can't wait until I read it! :D
Loved this book and as I had not read the first one read that and then this one and all I can say is give me more.....
I am loving this book, much more so than the first. Clockwork Angel took some time for me to get into. I am listening to the audiobook, it was the first thing I could get from the library. Clare is such a talented writer, I am always impressed with how she makes me sympathize with her characters and get frustrated with others. Within in the first few chapters, she had me crying over (view spoiler) I am absolutely wearing my heart on my sleeve for Will. I'm about 40% through the book, it's hard to tell specifics on an audiobook; I'm not good about paying attention to chapter numbers. I can't wait to see what happens next! I don't know how I'll make it waiting for the next book.
I loved this book. I favor this series to TMI actually and LOVE LOVE Jem. It ended exactly how I wanted it to..
Which scares me.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED they say!
(:
Phyllis wrote: "Who reads the audio version?"I listened to the audio version and LOVED it! I had a hard time getting into the first novel in the series, so I chose the audio version then too. It was great; I listened in the car. It really bring an added element of drama in my opinion.
HAHAHa, I'm sorry, I meant to ask, who does the reading? Is the author reading it? An actor or actress? I'm sure lots of people listen to audio books and love it. I wasn't try to imply anything negative. :)
I'm not sure for other books but for these ones I believe Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl) reads them. Just knowing it's him makes me want to listen to them.
I loved the book so much! I listened to the audio and just adored Ed Westwick's voice! He was amazing. Who knew Chuck Bass had it in him! lol The way he read Will was so tortured and soulful. Heather Lind was a great Tessa too! I loved how she sang the Irish Ballads and Sophie's cockney accent. Bravo to both. As for the actual story... wow, that ending was heartbreaking. I cannot wait for the next book!!!!! I am re-listening to the audio now!
omg, agreed! The ending made me want to cry, I can't believe it!! I cannot wait to read the Clockwork Princess -- but, I do hope there is some more actions in the next book. I loved the love story in this one, but I thought the action was sort of lacking, thoughts?? Loved it though! As always, Cassandra Clare keeps me up WAY past my bedtime!
I loved this book too, I was freaking out when Will was going to her but Jem was the one at the door and felt HORRIBLE for Will. I thought the high and lows were pretty good, I'm just glAd it was a good read (no pun intended) all the way through with awesome descriptions of their feelings.
