encrypted duel?

Is there a 'translation' of the encrypted duel between Nightingale and Zamonium? I tried to decode the 'wingdings' but without any one- or two-letter words I got nowhere. Or is Moers just being a wisenheimer, teasing us into trying to figure out something that's actually random?

Well sure it's a joke; the whole book is stuffed cram-full of jokes. But that's not to say that some jokes aren't hidden inside puzzles. The author did play around with more subtle & clever humor sometimes.
