Where do you find the time to read so many books?? I want to read 100 for the year and I've only read 8. I want to know your secret! :)

Lisa, I read every single moment I can get. I set a very large reading goal for this year, and I'm going to have to take a hiatus for half the year while I'm studying for exams, so I'm trying to get half way through before I stop, or at least come to a complete crawl. I don't have children or a significant other at the moment, so that also makes it easier for me to read when I get the time. :)

Wow nice! I have a significant other, but he doesn't really butt into my time. The big thing for me is work interfering so much and wearing me out all the time.

I'll try to read even after an exhausting day at work or after studying. It'll help me wind down, and usually i fall asleep faster this way. Otherwise I'm wired and hyper. I just love reading!

Chanpreet - you are my idol, LOL! It seems lately I have even less time to read. Things have actually picked up at work for me (for now) so I can't use that time to do my homework like I had been. I'm stuck doing homework at home now (for two classes) on the nights I don't have my daughter and after 9pm on the nights I do. :(

Thanks Stacy! It's just for right now. I'm sure you'll be able to pick up the pace of your reading with time. Perhaps when your daughter gets out of school for the summer, or the semester ends in a couple of months?

Thanks Chanpreet! :)

I was in the middle on this book. I didn't think it was awful, but I also didn't think it was stellar either.

This one is on my list for this year, mainly because I own it for my Nook. It was a Free Fridays book for Nook awhile back. I'm not a big fan of YA books, but it sounds interesting enough for a light read!

I got it free as well. I love YA books, but this one just didn't spark my interest. There was no mystery as to why she was traveling around Europe, there was not enough character development for myself. At least not until the end. I just thought it was a "Mheh" type of book. I will probably read the 2nd one too just because I already have it, but possibly not for awhile.

I liked the 2nd one a lot better.

Ok, so we blew away the 1,000 book goal for last year. I don't want to go too high.....so let's try for 1,300 books in 2012. :)
Ready, set, GO!"
Question Stacy: Do the books have to be RDI books, or some other form of chick lit, or do any books get to count towards the goal of 1300??
