I have Love You to Death and I'm determined to read it for this challenge. I hope it's good! I've loved all her other books I've read too. :)

I really enjoyed it when I read it so long ago. The only problem is she left it open for a sequel and then never wrote it!!

That's interesting. I wonder if she'll ever get back to it....

This is one of those ones I tried to read but just couldn't get into. What did you think of it?

Such an awesome book!! Did you love it? I met the author in October at a book signing, she's really cool and cracks me up. :)

Really? Bummer! Anyone know if she has a new book coming out any time soon? I haven't seen anything.

I have to agree with Stacy! ;) By the way, I've been checking their events calendar, but nothing has caught my eye lately.

I gave it a solid 4 ★ rating. I loved the characters and I think the main character had a fairly similar personality to myself. (Yes my favorite color is pink and I have a thing for drama-filled TV shows). I also loved the way she didn't stick with just the "normal" paranormal creatures. I just wasn't jumping in my seat to finish it otherwise it probably would have been a 5 ★ rating. I only spent all of yesterday finishing it because my boyfriend was car buying. So I sat there and read while he worked with the car salesmen. Plus it was an hour long drive to the area where he wanted to shop, so I read then too.

I still get their emails. There was one that I thought would be cool to go to, but it was really last minute notice, plus on a night I have my daughter. I can't remember who it was though. :(

I love Evie, and you're right, the mix of paranormals is so vast. In the second one she had some that I'd never even heard of! Lish was also a favorite character of mine.

It was interesting I think. I got through it with no problems.

LOL, yeah she signed my book and said I was, "bleeping awesome," or something like that. :)

Kristin, what did you think about Mother of the Bride by Lynn Michaels?

I actually asked Melissa Senate if she was ever going to write the sequel (because I'm crazy like that) and she said it was pretty unlikely. I think with RDI folding and her new publisher asking her to start using a pseudonym to distance herself from the chick lit tag that we'll probably never get the sequel. But maybe she could do a short story on her website.

That sucks. Thanks for asking Nicole! It's not crazy, it's helpful for the rest of us. ;)

That does suck, what a disappointment. :( It's cool that she emailed you back, though!

How was Love You to Death? I've loved all of her other books that I've read. I'm sure I'll love this one too!
