What do you splurge on?
Books, off course, and shoes. Can't pass by the bookstore and I probably own ten times more shoes than I need. Now, as I gifted myself a brand new Kindle Touch for my birthday, it's even more easier to go crazy buying books.
Books! And sweaters for one of my dogs. She's the only girl and looks even more darling in anything.
this will sound silly but good quality toilet paper. I hate one ply and even 2ply. quilted northern ultra all the way baby.
Kindle Books (I won't tell anyone how much I spend per month. I'm working on it, though.)Also, my nails. I'm addicted to that nail gell!(lol)
Oh yes Trudy! I'm with you on the gel polish. I get it done every two weeks. Besides that it's books and magazines. Just got my Kindle Fire for Christmas so my splurging just turned a corner.

I get my nails done every 2 weeks and pedicure with that during the summer. I also get my hair cut/colored every 5 weeks. Could I do this myself? Yes, but this is my splurge for working all the time :)
Makeup. Perfume. Books. Shoes. Handbags--**just say NO** to logo bags and and logo brands. Ugh, sick of 'em.
Splurges: hair color, perfume and hardcover books. Of course, I love a good deal on any of those things, too! :)
Books, definitely. I think I actually spend more on books than on food *blushes*Other than that, maybe notebooks, I can't remember if I've splurged out on notebooks but I seem to have quite a stack of blank ones here in the house so...lol
Going out to dinner, red wine (sometimes), books, and my biggest splurg is Moroccan Oil Hair Products. It is the best stuff on earth!

My hairstylist introduced me to Moroccan Oil for hair; I love it too! and ditto-- it is the best on earth!
Things I splurge on because they make me happy: books, premium dark chocolate, sea salt carmels,
Things I splurge on because doing so makes me feel better: organic groceries (milk, produce, meat)

I forgot about chocolate.

Twin Peaks as in http://twinpeaksfest.com/
based on the show Twin Peaks?
I LOVED Twin Peaks. I have the whole old series on video cassette tapes (taped when they originally aired, I have a copy of the soundtrack, and I even read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer
.
I live in WA state, so I've actually been to North Bend, have had pie at the Double R Diner (Mar-T Cafe) in North Bend, but have never been to the festival.
And now, if you are talking about some other Twin Peaks, I have just proved I'm a total geek! :o)

I don't think chocolate counts as a splurge since it's necessary to survival - you know, like air and water. haha.
Heating and cooling, but mostly heating. I typically like to be environmentally conscious/green, but I splurge on keeping that thermostat at a nice 72 or even 73 in the winter. My parents set their house to 68 or something like that and think it's more than plenty.I'm so sorry mother earth. Despite all of my other green efforts, having a warm house is something I can't let go of.
I like nice quality chocolate and I'm a magazine fan, like those nice magazines by Somerset Studio and excellent quality fabric.
Books of course, vintage handbags, chocolate, magazines, and craft supplies! Cathie, I love those by Somerset too!

Laura - It really is the best product. I even bought the one for curls. It is awesome.
Chocolate, chocolate and... did I say chocolate? Yep, pretty much that, especially in that time of the month :)

For me it certainly depends on the season. the only constant is "me time" which is getting my hair color weaved, cut, & styled...like clock work...every 7 weeks!! Next I would say Oregon Ducks football tickets, events, & apparel!! and yes....shoes. Again...seasons....REI camp gear and apparel as well. work hard, play hard!!!

Besides books…I would say perfume, handbags, hair products (anything to tame my frizzy, uncontrollable hair) and good styling brushes :)
I would say book because I get them often and have so many, but I really don't spend a lot on them; it's so easy to get good books cheap.I splurge on my home, i.e., I spend lots on furniture and rennovations.

That reminds me, I splurge on my cat, too. She eats expensive Hill's Prescription Diet food and her kitty litter is name brand, not generic. Nothing but the best for her!
Book buying is a way of life for me and the splurges are rare. I buy used paperbacks & swap online so my purchases are mostly cookbooks that I can't live without like the Barefoot Contessa or the Pioneer Woman. My real splurges are restaurants once or twice a week. That dollar amount can be pretty high and I don't go to really expensive places EVER. The other splurging area is the beautification of me. That is really hard work! Hair every 6 weeks, nails every 2 weeks, pedicure every month. That reminds me: it's time for a springtime nail splurge.

For me it's sunglasses; I buy good sunglasses. But I only buy a pair every 3 years or so, so maybe that's not a huge splurge because I don't purchase them regularly.
The other thing is Clinique Buttershine Lipstick in Water Violet; which I do buy regularly because I wear it every day.
