I enjoy the detective novels by Jon Cleary.

The only Australian book I have read this year is Mezza Italiana: An Enchanting Story about Love Family la Dolce Vita and Finding Your Place in the World
It was enjoyable but not outstanding.

Thanks Danielle and yes you’re right in saying that the animals are more humane than the human. I come to realise that more so when Romachka ventured out into the city. I was disgusted and angry at the humans by the way treated Romachka.
