Cuppa (cuppa_cozy) Welcome Joyce. I haven't read any E J Copperman but Night of the Living Deed is in my TBR pile. I think it looks pretty good. (Obviously or I wouldn't have bought it, I guess.) Let us know what you think.

Good afternoon everyone,
I'm Antje, a bookworm from Austria. I work at 1st-Level IT Support in a Callcenter and i'm reading in any spare time (which includes the lunch break at work). Besides Cozy Mysteries I also like more hard-boiled crimestories or thriller and sometimes a good Stephen King novel. I'm really glad that I've found a group specialised at cozies, 'cause I've only read few so far and search for some suggestions what to read next. I'm looking forward discussing books with you and wish everyone a nice weekend :)

Hi Antje, welcome to the group! I hope you'll find some good books here and join in the discussions. If you've read any of our prior books, feel free to make comments in their threads.

Cuppa (cuppa_cozy) Hi Antje. Welcome to the group. You will hear about lots of good books here. I know my list of books to read has grown quite a bit in the short time I'vee been here.

message 456: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks a lot for that warm welcome :) I already found a lot of cozies to put on my wishlist and now I have some difficulties to figure out what to buy next :D. *lol* I just realized that I made a mistake yesterday with that "good afternoon" in my post, I hope nobody minds that I forgot the time difference.

Hi Tay, welcome to the group! I love the Jaine Austen series, and your post reminded me that I'm behind in the series. I hope you find some new authors here.

message 460: by Tay (new)

Tay | 3 comments Thanks. I finished the first book last night after I wrote my post on here. I purchased the next book straight after. Jaine reminds me a lot of myself.
I look forward to finding new authors and talking to people with the same reading interests.

Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody series and the Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Atherton are a couple of my favorites. I'm reading so many cozy series that I have to use fictfact to keep up with them, but I still love getting new recommendations!

Sometimes it feels like these groups and finding all the new books are a double-edged sword :)

Jack | 5 comments Hi! I'm Jack, retired teacher, a reader, and now starting out to be a writer of ebook mysteries. I have always loved mysteries of all sorts, but cozies were the ones that we were allowed to teach in school. I hope to get some reading suggestions from this group and an offer to the group a few myself.

I look forward to this group's suggestions and participating in discussions. It looks to me like a lot of work has been done on this group -- thanks to all those who made this such an interesting place to cozy lovers like me.

message 495: by J.C. (new)

J.C. Rede (movieguy1920) | 2 comments Hey all! My name is J.C. I live in Orlando FL, and in my spare time I am a novice audiobook narrator. I recently discovered cozys quite by accident after buying an ebook that was not what I thought it was, but better - and have devoured Ellery Adams 'Books By The Bay' Mystery series. I had been looking for something that would give me a sort of 'grownup' version of a Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew story - and cozys seem to hit that sweet spot! Looking forward to getting some suggestions from you!
