Get it Terry! I think most people think Twilight is a book for girls only because its a romance, but a good book is a good book regardless of genre! Your guys would probably get hooked once they read it! I like the term Twi-Guy though

your very welcome. Yea Twi Guys would be an interesting discussion topic. Its great hearing the males point of view on the book. Though I think theres only like two Twi Guys in the group lol!

LOL....Now I am really interested to fnd out what quotes from the book came up in real life..lol! The other day one of my co-workers that I dont really like, was all excited about taking me out to lunch. So...i didnt want to hurt his feelings and tell him NO so I kinda just put on a fake smiley face and blurted out, "Alright, movie night with Bella!" (its from New Moon when Jessica tries to pretend that shes happy bella invited her to go out to the movies with Mike)LOL! My co-worker was looking at me like, "WHAT? who is bella, and why are you talking about movies?" Anywho, just had to share that! Twilight is taking over my speech!
**Oh and Terry you dont have to see anyone about starting a Twi Guy discussion. Just go to the appropriate folder and post a new topic. For Twi-Guys I'd probably reccommend the "Members" folder. Your always free to post your own topics as long as you've checked to make sure no one else has posted the same thing, and as long as you place it in the right folder! :)
will do thanks love fudge i did it again i think i need to lay off twilight for awhile..............naaaa lol
Well i did some serches on any TwiGuy groups and i only found TwiGuy and Twigirls RP and because i wanted guys who love Twight series as much as i do wheather you're gay, straight,Bi it doesnt matter its time for us to rise up and take a stand and help the females in defending the honor of SM and everything Twilight related so no more hideing in the dark take all your stuff Twilight,New Moon,Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn(which is avaliable in book store everywhere and dont forget to get the new addition too the series the short second life of bree tanner coming out june 5 til july 5)and hold it up high as you can and say hey Im a TwiGuy and im proud of it and if you dont like it then go jump off a cliff.

I need someone to get him to read the first book he wants to skip the first two and read Eclipse!
If you feel like your too old at 20 something to read the book I should feel what... dead? At 40 something I'm reluctant to even mention I have read the books, seen the movies, and liked them. The book was recommended by a friend who is 50 something so.....

I will attend Eclipse with my 50 something girlfriend and her daughter. I may wear a disguise.

LOL...If you do wear a disguise Im sure it wont be odd, I'm sure there will be people at the premier dressed up like Edward, Bella, the Volturi, the Wolf Pack, you name it!
So you were watching Twilight last night huh! I've decided to lay off of the movies for a bit, I was watching them so much that they were starting to get boring....and I definetly cant have that!

How many times have you seen the movies Krystal?

Oh Gosh! That is a hard question to answer....Its mostly Twilight that I watched to death. I was at a point where I was watching it each night before I went to bed, or if I was gonna be up late studying, fixing stuff. etc....then I would just let it play in the background. I saw New Moon 4 times in the theatre, but since I bought the DVD I've only watched it 2x.
Ugh Twilight lol
I saw New Moon 3 times in theatres..don't have the DVD as yet..although my hubby keeps asking if I want it lol

Wow! He must really like you..lol! From the way you describe your love for Jacob, I thought the hubby would ban everything Twilight related from the house!

sighs..my sweet sweet hubby
He draws the line at me calling him Jacob, any sons we might have, or a teddy bear.

hey I'm 23 and a man... so yes it feels kind weird that I like this so much but I know a few guys olders and youngers than me who like it too, plus I think the books are not for teens exactly but for young adult people so I'm still in the kind :D even my father has read the series and he is 53
Manuel--I am over 50 also, and have read the books many times. I even got my husband to watch the movies---not reading the books yet though! So you should be proud of your dad!! I personally like the idea of GUYS reading this series. This thread has intimidated me b/c of the title, but I am finding its NOT just for 20 somethings!! :-)
Yeah I think the more appropriate title for this topic would be "attention 20 somethings and above!" This is our little place to hide. The more time I spend talking to you guys I've actually forgotten that there is a stigma with being over 20 and reading the book! But I completely agree with you Terri, its so rare that you get to hear the males perspective of the book, so Im glad that we have Twi guys. I just let a guy friend of mine borrow New Moon and he texted me after he watched it saying, "I freakin love Twilight"....yea baby!!!
Good job, Krystal--spread that LOVE!!!!!I tried to get my 22 yr old boys to watch telling them they would have CONVERSATION topics w/ girls..........but NOOOOOOO!! I do keep trying! :-)
hahahahahaha yeah, my dad saw me and my sisters, who are by the way 20 and 28, with these books and felt curiosity, then suddenly he read the whole saga :O, actually my mom is the only one who hasn't read it, but is I think is just because she realy don't like to read, but her sister, my aunt, is a twifan too hahahah

I did have a short break and decided to watch it again. (I'm mostly listening to the music.) I'm usually on my laptop at the same time so multitasking. I always stop typing/surfing at the parts I like; biology class, bedroom scene, baseball game... I really need to buy New Moon!!
LOL...oh wow Grace I do the exact same thing. Last time I watched Twilight was when I was assembling a new bookcase I bought from Walmart. I just let it play while I hooked it up. Twilight is like a mind soother or something.
hahaha some friends paid me for make a model of a beach resort for college and always I just to work on it watching twilight :D
I'm going to a Twilight convention in 3 days with my other 20 something year old friends, lol!! It's gonna be a major 3 day sleepover. Haha!! Can't wait to finally meet Peter!!!!!!! Also..I just saw 100 Monkeys in concert on April 14th. Omfg!! It was amazing. Jackson is soooooooooooooooo much hotter in person!!!!!!! If you haven't seen them, you really need to!!!!
well.... I'm really like a baby not that old at all
but I look a lot older... and I test out higher than college kids on standardized testing....
but I look a lot older... and I test out higher than college kids on standardized testing....
Well Vivi I'm younger.... and I'm a midget.... but....
I'm in my early 30s, but then so was Stephanie Meyer when she wrote the saga, so maybe I don't feel quite so old.My Gran has always told me that she still feels she's in her 20s, it's just her body that can't keep up anymore and I have to say that I still feel the same as I did when I was 21!
I'm also a midget, as the saying goes "the best things come in small packages"!
hahaha! exactly we're not short we're fun sized
it gets kind of frustrating though when i spend my day with girls that are like 5 9 or 10 (I'm 5 4) and good guy friends that are like 6 ft
