Surrender is one amazing read and I am not even finished yet! I love this book so much, not sure why it has taken me so long to pull it from the shelf. I love that I have actually been to the forts and places they speak of in the book, makes it so much more real to me. At the begining of the book when they were on Lake George, I new exactly where they were, we vacations there when I was a child many times. When Iain carried Annie by Fort William Henry, I remember going there many times and seeing re-enactments as a child. Just amazing to me!

and what an awesome book! I would have given it more stars if possible! Absolutely loved it and now I want to go back to my old childhood vacation destination.. Lake George & the Adirondack Mts.
Wow looks like my reading slows way down once the weather gets nice!
