Jessica (jessicadowell) The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

This is one of my favorite books by Nicholas Sparks! You are going to love it! I laughed and even shed a few tears while reading it!

Stef (buch_ratte) | 2 comments I started with the book last night and so far I really love it. It is the nice, easy reading I need right now. It is the second book I read by him. Previously I have only read A Bend in the Road and I loved that one. And I have the feeling that this one is just as good.

message 7: by Paula (new)

Paula Stef, The Notebook is still my favorite. I've loved others (I'm up to Dear John now) but The Notebook remains my favorite.

Farzan (persianguy1983) | 86 comments My favourite book of Nicholas Sparks is Message In the Bottle because it was the first book , I read

message 9: by Paula (new)

Paula I did really like that one also Farzan.

message 10: by Stef (new)

Stef (buch_ratte) | 2 comments The book was really good, took me just an afternoon to read it. Couldn't stop reading because I had to know how it ends. Now I have only A MESSAGE IN THE BOTTLE of his books left to read but since it has been on my TBR forever, it has to stay there a few more weeks.

message 11: by Paula (new)

Paula I was balling like a baby at the end of "The Notebook" Stef. My husband and two sons were sitting where I was reading so I had to go on the back deck so they wouldn't make fun of me! LOL

Farzan (persianguy1983) | 86 comments and also a walk to remember is really romantic and tragic,

Crystal (trinityroberts) The book is even better than the movie.

message 14: by Paula (new)

Paula Oh I agree Crystal, I loved it.

I just finished "Dear John", another tear jerker!

message 15: by Crystal (new)

Crystal (trinityroberts) I'm heading down to the 2nd hand book store down the street this weekend to find more. I just read "the choice." It was pretty good. I liked "Nights in Rodanthe" better. I want the rest of his collection.

message 16: by Paula (new)

Paula I have them all Crystal. My Mom always buys two of the hardbacks when they first come out so we can read and keep them.

message 17: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (deannap) | 2 comments I agree... While the movie was truly amazing, the book is sooo much better!

I hope you enjoy it. I loved both the movie and book... Noah is one strong man :)

message 23: by Gaynell (new)

Gaynell (gaynellk) | 8 comments This is my favorite of Nicholas Sparks' books that I have read. I still have quite a few to go - so this could change.

message 24: by Katie (new)

Katie Hart I may be the only one...but I didn't really like the book and thought the movie was way better. I didn't like how the book (if I remember correctly) basically started with her coming back after she's engaged to see the house he's completed. It hardly had anything about their first summer together. Whereas a good portion of the movie focused on their developing relationship that first summer. But that's just my opinion. :)

message 25: by Kay (new)

Kay i really want to read it!

You should! It's great...one of my favorites..!!

The Romance Bookie (theromancebookie) | 9 comments Of course "The Notebook" was fabulous!! Did anyone else read the sequel?? "The Wedding" it's called and its the story of Noah and Allie's son-in-law and there daughter and their relationship. It was just as sweet and loving as "The Notebook".

message 28: by Christine (new)

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 90 comments I never read the book but I saw the movie
