Definitely chick-lit, but I have hope that a certain adorable wizard and a certain ordinary human will get together. ;-) Worth checking out for sure.
And Eve and Roarke continue to be awesome! Really looking forward to the next book (#16) as I heard it again deals with Roarke's past. Makes my heart all kinds of happy.

. I've had it on my tbr mountain for awhile and plan to read for a challenge soon.
Thanks Ladies :-) I really did love the book. I ignored my family yesterday in pursuit of finishing it, which doesn't often happen during weekends for me. it just sucked me in after the third chapter. Lisa Kay, if you've been putting off The Hunger Games because it's too brutal, I thought this was harsher in that respect.
Eek! Yeah, I'm not into brutal right now. Thanks for the heads up, CaroB.
Hayley, I don't know if I can help without knowing why you're reluctant... I'm not usually a big fan of YA, though I'm taking note of more and more friend's recommendations in that genre. I have to say The Hunger Games is extremely well written. The World-building is fantastic, Collins really makes you understand the ins and outs of the setting. It's not a light and fluffy romance, but I would recommend you give it a go. At least the first book. If you've ever read Tomorrow, When the War Began and liked it, (though I think it's by an Aussie author, so not sure if it's available in the U.S) then I can pretty much guarantee you'll like THG. Having said that, the romance in it isn't really what I took away from it, so in that respect, you might want to give
a go first.Not sure if that made any sense...?

I'm not really sure why I don't think I would like Hunger Games, although, SEVERAL people have recommended it to me. I think, I may read it next month to see what all the hype is. I do enjoy YA on occasion, it's easily readable usually.
I considered reading Divergent as well, maybe later this year :)
