all i remember is what the cover looks like. it was a green cover and there was a car. in the back window there was a handprint. i remember some parts in the story for example at one point she almost escapes by climbing out the window in a restroom at a restaraunt and towards the end they are on a boat and the kidnapper is about to kill her and he had a silencer on the gun. all help appreciated, so desperate to find this book.

How old was the book? Maybe Who Stole Kathy Young? ? It has been a while since I read it, but I'm pretty sure there's a bit on a boat. I think she gets carried there wrapped up in a blanket. Oh, and she's deaf. Does that sound familiar?

nope that also is not it. i am not entirely sure but i have a feeling the title was only one or two words. i remember drawing the cover in 5th grade. read it in fifth grade which was 3 years ago, not sure how old it is. thanks!
