1. A nonfiction costume or fashion book
2. The last book in a series (I have too many in-progress series, so this will force me to finish one)
4. A book that I got for free on my kindle
5. A science fiction masterwork
6. A book that's more than 750 pages
7. A book published before the year 1900.
8. A book I own, rather than only reading things from the library.
That's all I can think of now. I like the idea of open-ended challenges, though.
I do the 52 books in a year challenge every year. Before Larry I used to exceed it...always. Now, I find it harder and harder. I was well ahead of schedule heading into the summer. Now I am currently 2 books behind schedule and I'm dilly-dallying over 285 pages of free kid's book! I should be able to knock this out on one rainy day!

1. At least 15 books from my "To Read" list, limiting myself to those that I already own.
2. At least 2 works of non-fiction.
3. Finish a series that I have started (either/or/both Updike's Rabbit series and/or Game of Thrones).
4. At least 10 authors I've never read before.
