Predictions for Love Triangle in Clockwork Princess

I hope that jem dies a heroic death and Tessa and Will live happily ever after. Maybe Gabriel and Cecily would make a good couple as well.

Everyone keeps saying Jem is going to die. BUT, maybe he becomes brother Zachariah in the mortal instruments. 'cause brother Z has a soft spot for the Herondales.
Also, in the trilogy the Dark Artifices by Clare, coming in 2015. The protagonist name is Emma Carstairs. And Carstairs is Jem's last name. Does that mean he lives and has children? Hmm..
I'm Team Will still. But that doesn't mean I want Jem to die.
All will be revealed in 2013.
I wonder what Church's role is in all of this. Predictions?
I'm just hoping that Will doesn't have a Sydney kind of death or something, because I think it would be right up Cassandra Clare's alley to give Will a really awful ending where he sacrifices himself to give Tessa and Jem a happy ever after.But, I also think that whatever happens, he probably won't die for real; like Jace in CoG, I think that even if that^ does happen he'll come back somehow. Brother Zachariah?
What I HOPE happens is that Mortmain says that if tessa gives herself up, he has an antidote for Jem; tessa then has a really romantic scene with Will, tells him he loves him, and leaves so that Jem can have a nice happy life without her?

Thats awesome. I wish my mom didn't hate reading:) As for Abigail's comment, if Will has a Sydney death, I will cry my eyes out. I cried in A tale of Two Cities.(but I never cry in books so it was weird). I just can't see Cassandra permanently killing off Will. But that's probably because I'm team Will :)

EVERYONE THAT CARES, Cassandra Clare hinted in one interview that Tessa might not end up with either. I have a feeling she'll end up with Gabriel (You're all forgetting him) because on several occasions the show limited affection toward each other, and Tessa HAS said he was handsome :3 that's my theory. I love will, but this might happen....
I think the only reason Tessa wouldn't end up with Will or Jem is because she isn't going to end up with anybody. And if it is someone else, I think it will be someone we haven't met or will never meet.

Jem doesnt die.....there is an emma carstairs in the dark artifices series which is going to be published in 2015.. woah now i am worried.. what if tessa ends up with jem.. not that i dont like jem.. i love jem but it would kill me to see that will doesnt get together with tessa :/
I am just going to say this one thing: if there isn't a Will and Tessa scene (preferably with kissing) I will be very disappointed. I won't hate the book, because I never could, but you get the idea.
Maybe Will also becomes immortal by becoming a silent brother? Or Jem? For me, the end is bound to be bittersweet because their is no right answer. No matter what, someone dies or gets hurt.
But I am definitely team Will. Although I do love Jem.

But, in the Dark Artifices (2015) the main character has the last name of Carstairs, so I think Tessa and Jem might have a baby first before Jem gives his blessing to Will and dies. I have a love-hate relationship with Will. Sometimes he drives me completely insane and others I just can't stand Tessa for not realizing they are meant to be together. But, those emotional feelings in my opinion are what love is about. So I predict Tessa will be with Will in the end.
Cassandra stated that Emma Carstairs shouldn't be assumed to be directly related to Jem. She confused the situation by saying that Jem has multiple family members he doesnt know about, so she could stem from the unknown side. Though, it is possible that Tessa may not end up with either as Laura & Sophia stated. I'm not sure if I would like that ending.. I would feel cheated. And who Knows if Will may be the one that ends up dying in battle. I'm sure ONE of the boys will die before the end though

But I will not be particualrly surpirsed if Will dies. He may be pretty reckless because Tessa (who he may want to live for) now pretty much belongs to someone else. He'll have a renewed recklessness for his life I reckon.
It's super obviously Will. I mean come on! The smart, funny, witty, and irresistibly sexy character versus the soft hearted sweet character? I mean don't get me wrong, I love Jem with all of my heart, but Tessa on the other hand does not. She loves him in a way that she wants to protect him and keep him alive, yet she loves Will in a way that is passionate and romantic and, frankly, filled with way more love than she has for Jem. There is quite a large difference between being IN love and loving someone. She loves Jem very much of course but she is definitely IN love with Will. Or else she wouldn't have to convince herself that she loves Jem. My prediction is this
Will and Tessa
Jem either alone, becoming a silent brother, or possibly getting with Cecily. I don't believe he will die because there is no way Will would get with Tessa after that. He would feel way to guilty and like he is betraying Jem.

Just because we don't know his family, doesn't mean that it could've been a relative of Jem's. There is a possibility that it was not A descendant of Jem's child.

yeah i found out that Jem had relatives he doesnt know of...and at that period of time... i had just finished the clockwork prince and it was driving me crazy.. so i am all good :)

Well I've been reading some more updates about Clare's new series due out in 2015, and one of the characters has the surname Carstairs. So she's definitely keeping us on the edge with these guessing games haha.
I think Jem will become Brother Zacharia.

Everyone is saying that Bridget the cook's song have some significance to Tessa, especially 'Sweet William' at the end. However...Earlier in the book when Bridget is first introduced during a training session, she is also strongly attracted to Will, as should everyone be! 'Sweet William' could be in reference to her own feelings, not Tessa's...

In my opinion, Tessa won't end up with either Will or Jem. I have that feeling for a while now and it's really, really a strong feeling. I'm Team Will, btw.
HA.. gabriel.. that would suck for Will but i wonder about the ending because it will be a surprise won't it.. so it makes guessing it harder because we may guess right but even if we did we would think we didnt because it wouldnt be a surprise anymore.i also have a feeling she wont end up with either :/

i have always thought that Tessa "runs away" in 'Princess because she found out what she was. Will, Being distraught, spills his feelings to someone, and Jem overhears. Jem confronts him and they go off to find Tessa together NOT knowing what she is. during that time she was captured and beaten and forced into marrying the Magisterium (Sp). Then Will and Jem find her, save her and Tessa tells Jem her cannot continue to be married to him because of guilt and something else.

Then Jem and Will go and Join the silent brothers. Tessa figures out she is pregnant with will's child. and raises him and we all know what happens then.
Maybe Will and Tessa Die and Jem stars a relationship with Cecily. Or Cecily date with Gabriel or a new caracter. But I'm pretty sure that the brother Jeremiah is Jem and went Will and Tessa dies he joins to the silent brothers. I hope that won't happen.

i honestly don't know what to expect form Clockwork Princess and i think that shows just how great an author Clare is! About the love triangle, i admit that i LOVE WILL and think that it is he who should be with Tessa, considering that she is in love with him too. Someone said that Tessa is mentioned as a ghost in City of Glass, but i dont remember :( i'm gonna have to re-read it. As much as i feel bad about this, here's what i HOPE will happen:Will and Tessa get together,
Jem gets together with Sophie, or becomes a Silent Brother, or dies :(
So in Clockwork Prince, it is said that Henry made this confuseler gun that takes down someone's guard down for a few minutes and makes them spurt out anything on their mind. I have a weird feeling that Tessa will accidentally get shot by this gun and spills all her feelings for will in front of Everyone, including Jem. Jem will be bitter at first, then he'll realize that Tessa really loves Will and Will loves Tessa. Then I think He'll either die (HOPEFULLY NOT) or fall for Wills's sister Cicely.
