Purely chosen by book cover and titles alone. But you can't go wrong with Sarah Dessen so I hear.
I just finished reading
so I edited out from the list. It is a light read. I think I will go with Tt's suggestion of

i've read linger, bloodlines, nightshade, born at midnight, perfect chemistry and shatter me. you should get them at least! AWESOME.

I really liked The Host and would suggest reading that one! It was long, but very different and held my attention throughout.

I loved Hourglass, Unearthly, Forget You, and Perfect Chemistry.
The Body Finder, This Lullaby, The Dark Divine, and The Host were also great.

I think you should read linger, bloodlines and crossed i havent read any of the other ones but these three are really good
You can always try the morganville vampires, I LOVEEEED them. They're by Rachel Caine and I just got the newest one. ;)
You have to read Juliet Immortal! I just finished it and it was amazing
You should read: This Lullaby, Crossed(if you read Matched), The Host(EXCELLENT)!! Also I couldn't get into As I Wake by Elizabeth Scott.

Hex Hall (magic and fantasy) was good but I liked Matched (dystopian society) better (unfortunately book two is not as good).
Also I'm a middle school teacher and my kids have been telling me that "If I stay" is a very good tear jerker book. Hope it helps
