Gayatri | 368 comments Right now I have these stand alone novels and I can't pick which to read but I know that I want something that would make me laugh a lot because i have read some really good but less humor filled stories for awhile now!!

A Match Made in High School by Kristin Walker Bad Taste in Boys by Carrie Harris Boys, Girls and Other Hazardous Materials by Rosalind Wiseman Breathing by Cheryl Renee Herbsman Forgotten by Cat Patrick Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley Just Listen by Sarah Dessen Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins Lucky T by Kate Brian My Life Undecided by Jessica Brody Not That Kind Of Girl by Siobhan Vivian On the Fringe by Courtney King Walker Overprotected by Jennifer Laurens Rhymes with Cupid by Anna Humphrey Saving Juliet by Suzanne Selfors Saving Zoë by Alyson Noel Sleepless by Cyn Balog Sleepless by Terri Clark Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen Sweet 16 by Kate Brian The Beginning of After by Jennifer Castle The Best Girl by Emma Harrison The Boyfriend League by Rachel Hawthorne The Boys Next Door (Simon Romantic Comedies) by Jennifer Echols The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Kody Keplinger The Locket by Stacey Jay The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson The Truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen Ultraviolet (Ultraviolet, #1) by R.J. Anderson Waiting For You by Susane Colasanti What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen You Against Me by Jenny Downham

So which one should I read first and why??

I suggest "The boys next door" it looks really good and it says its a romantic comedy if that helps! But I haven't read any of these books yet though....

I suggest "The Beginning of After" haven't read any of these either but I heard it was good.

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 197 comments I haven't read any. If I were to pick I would read

Bad Taste in Boys by Carrie Harris , Forgotten by Cat Patrick , Not That Kind Of Girl by Siobhan Vivian , The Duff (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Kody Keplinger

Purely chosen by book cover and titles alone. But you can't go wrong with Sarah Dessen so I hear.

Gayatri | 368 comments I just finished reading How to Be Popular by Meg Cabot so I edited out from the list. It is a light read.

I think I will go with Tt's suggestion of The Boys Next Door (Simon Romantic Comedies) by Jennifer Echols

Catch my reviews of the books I read at

Of those you have listed, the only ones I've read are New Moon and The Host. New Moon wasn't my favorite Twilight book, but you have to read it to get to Eclipse, which was my favorite :)

I really liked The Host and would suggest reading that one! It was long, but very different and held my attention throughout.

I already read "Hex Hall", "Succubus Blues" and "Matched" If you are looking for a more adult oriented book I suggest Succubus blues it's interesting and it can get a tad bit graphic at times. Hex Hall (magic and fantasy) was good but I liked Matched (dystopian society) better (unfortunately book two is not as good).
Also I'm a middle school teacher and my kids have been telling me that "If I stay" is a very good tear jerker book. Hope it helps

Opinions on these? (good or bad, both will help my decisions :)) out of these I've posted, along with if you liked or didnt like it, I want to know WHY you liked or didnt like it, and if it has a cliffhanger and how many other books are out in its series (if its part of a series)

And if you have any other recomendations you think I'd like based on these, please tell me!
