"Yes." Pine said. "Because the forces of hell will no doubt be unleashed upon a four year old." Pine stopped herself from making another sarcastic comment. She really had to learn some responsibility. Fast. "So, uh..." Pine said, trying to return to topic. "Anyone have any ideas of how to restore a lost memory?"
"I don't fully remember you eragon. But I have seen you around my house. I don't know what's wrong with you but I can't explain the fact that I am almost seventeen in body. And yet my memory only covers my first 4 years of my life. Whats going on?" She turned in exasperation away from the group to hide her tears.
"Hey." Pine said. "Don't worry, we'll figure this out, you disappeared in the forest a long way back. If you want, a couple of us can take you back to where we lost you, and everyone else can face the demon. Or we can all go and then most of us will take you back later. "But we WILL figure this out one way or another."
"my order has some priests who focus on healing the spirit, perhaps they could help"
Rayla ran through the trees carefully, she sensed the group that had already passed was close at hand.

"but i cannot abandon my mission. the nearest outpost of my order would be waymeet, but i fear it will be overrun. there may yet be helpful magic though"
Rayla stopped. Voices were close. Cautiosly she moved foreward, she didnt know who was in the group and what kind of people or creatures they were.
"We may not have to go that far," Anubis said. "Water spirits have been known to heal people, but at a price. I'm pretty sure one lives in a bog near here."
"Okay" Pine said. "How far off our path will it be?"
Ah a memory problem Rayla thought. She had found the group she had senced. Hm.
Shaya slowly stood up, her body aching. She closed her eyes and held her hand out, trying to halt the water. Slowly the water skimmed to a stop. Once again she stepped on the stopped water. Then carefully she leand down putting her ear close to the gently rocking inch or water. Some sort of balance was off. This wasnt good.

"Not far," Anubis shrugged. "I'm pretty sure its just a quarter mile to the West."

"That seems like a reasonable enough detour, we've come so far already. The sooner Erica's memory is restored to her, the easier it will be for us to complete our journey." This was some group of people, one with memory issues, another not even fully a sentient being. In the past, Xapneir would have been ashamed to be part of such a group. Shaking these thoughts aside, he knew he needed to focus on the journey. But what would come after that? He would surely be alone again, doing who knows what. The way he choose to live his life was what he felt was right, but it could be very lonely at times.
Ok I need a good innocent entrance, Rayla thought. She stood up and started running ahead of the group. Once well ahead of them Rayla took in her surroundings, a cliff was coming up over looking a river. Perfect.
"Aight," said Anubis. "Do you people trust me enough to lead you, or would you like a map?"
Pine shrugged. "I trust you." She said, "The same can not be said for others though." She sent a scathing glance at Eragon and said. "I suppose for the sake of avoiding an argument it would be best to look at a map, do you have one?"

Shaya ran into the trees. Branches scratches at her legs. Her whole body shook. She knew exactly what was wrong but she needed to confirm it. If she was right. She shuddered not wanting to think about it.
"Well someone has to hold it," Anubis said.
Pine rolled her eyes and grabbed the map. "I'll take it." She said.

Pine scoffed and glanced at the map. "Yeah, it's due west, makes sense, so are you guys up for the detour?"
Shaya put her palm against the soil testing her theory, yeah it didnt work. She thought the water could tell her were the others may have gone, nothing came up with the water what so ever.
"All right gysers," She muttered out loud, "Do your stuff." She threw her hands in the air and two gysers imediatly shot up.

"I'm Pine" Pine said. "And you're Erica, right?" Without waiting for a reply she turned to Anubis. "Lets go, the sooner we get there the sooner we can continue on our journey. So lead the way Anubis."
inglades follows pine, trying to stay away from anubis
Pine turned to Inglades, noticing that he was staying pretty far away. "Anubis isn't going to hurt you, he's completely under my control you know."
"i mean no offense, but i still don't completely trust him"
Pine shrugged and kept walking, she was a little bothered though, distrust was making it's way through the group, at this rate she was sure that fighting would break out, as had happened with her and Eragon, they would never get there if that happened.

Pine followed Anubis, the silence pressing down on her ears, she had always loved silence, but now it was smothering, she let out a sigh of relief as they arrived. "What now?" She asked, staring over the gloomy bog.
Erica followed close behind. "Who?" She asked staring at them.
Pine turned around to fact Erica. "You mean who's Anubis? He's the Humunculus over there." She gestured to Anubis and the turned back around, looking for something that might be a swamp spirit.
Shayas side burned in pain. Raising her hand gross green water smacked her in the face.
"Ewwww!" She screamed. Wiping her eyes she saw she had arived at a sickening looking swamp thing, a soft fog lay over it.

"OH" She said softly. "Do you mind if I have a little time to myself?" She asked."I want to explore the surrounding woods."
