Yup it has pretty mixed reviews. It's kinda like X-Men but a book version.

Read The Unwanteds and got so bored. The writing is pretty but it needed an editor to shrink it and condense the action.

Never Fall Down is pretty amazing. About an 11 yo who grows up in Cambodia in the time of Khmer Rouge. Oddly upbeat despite the mounds of dead people. I can't stop thinking about it.

I got that book! It's been on my to read list for a long time!

My library has a limit as well... We can only have 10 books on hold. I just found out lol

I sat there thinking hard on which books I would request and which I would try to be patient and wait for. It sucked.
