Sorry ladies, I forgot to post this. Although, maybe no one has read it since you haven't mentioned it by now.

I did enjoy it though. The mythology was really interesting to me and I am excited to read more on it and see what happens.

With Kit. I get it. I get that he wants to bone Matthew and is harboring some grand love for him. He needs to get that no matter how bitchy he is to Diana Matthew isn't going to suddenly drop his pants and bend over! Its like Kit honestly thinks if he can come up with just the correct insult/condesending attitude towards Diana it is going to make Matthew suddenly realize that he's been in love with Kit all along. Just...shut up. Shut up and go away you freaking mooch.
And Matthew! I get that he's excited and happy to see these men who have been dead for hundreds of years that he's expected to never see again but could he speak up for his wife a little? Occasionally they (Kit) will say something that goes a little too far and he'll stick up for her. But all of the digs and insults that don't go "too far" he just completely lets them slide. And, I get that Matthew and Diana have agreed that there will be secrets but there won't be any lies but to that I say: if your stupid secrets are isolating you wife completely and totally out of your life and making her feel completely alone? Maybe its time to try something new.
And finally, the school of night: These dudes know no boundaries. Kit (an established dbag) barges into Diana and Matthews room in the morning and pulls down the blankets of their bed (probably trying to get a peak at a naked Matthew) and NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING?? When Diana and Matthew finally have a fight (that has been brewing for quite sometime, actually) and they go outside to duke it out the entire house of night is crowded around the windows that they've thrown open so they won't miss a single word? It makes sense for Matthew to want to be attatched at the hip with these guys---they've been dead for 400 years or something. What's their deal? In their timeline they just saw hime last week or something.
I really don't remember much of anything from reading this the first time, but I super hope that some of my irritations are answered by the time I'm finished with it this time around.

I really liked the last book. It does have a satisfactory ending. I never warmed up to Phoebe and (view spoiler)

I think season 2 is or was airing.
