Right now I'm re-listening/re-reading the Joe Ledger series by Jonathan Maberry in preparation for Book 6, Code Zero (March 25). Currently on Assassin's Code (Book 4 of the series). The series' narrator is Ray Porter, and he is magnificent!

Leah, I love that series. Ray Porter is the best in the business, IMO. I'm listening to Words of Radiance right now. After that it will probably be time for Code Zero, which I'm just as excited about that as I was with Words of Radiance. Possible spoiler regarding Maberry books. Though I don't think it's a huge secret...(view spoiler)
Nathan - I'm curious about that too. In the short story Tooth & Nail, (view spoiler)Anyway, very stoked about Code Zero too. I have both my pre-orders ready to go for March 25. Definitely going to be having an all nighter on that day to finish the book.
I am ALWAYS listening to at least one book. Right now I'm listening to A Brief History of Nearly Everything. I cannot recommend this book enough. Absolutely grand.
I love audiobooks. I spend about 2 hours in the car everyday, so I'm always listening to something. You can be sure that at least one of the books on my currently reading shelf is an audiobook. I usually borrow them from the library or friends. Othewise I think it's too expensive.
I finally finished quicksand ---greatOdd Thomas---not so great
I am now doing Afraid - jack kilborn
At anytime I have 10 books on CD from library!
One of them by Dan Simmons has 20 CD----ugh
I just started
last night. I got it from audible. it was one of their daily deals. so far it's good. a woman & her 3 daughters find a zombie baby!

By the way, The Hellbound Heart is read by Clive Barker himself. I think that when a book can be read out loud and still be beautiful, it speaks volumes for the talent of the writer.
I am almost through Shadow Divers. It's about a u-boat found bt wreck divers and their search for identifying it---true story
Then, I will be doing Hollow City by a Ransom Riggs

I agree.
Latasha wrote: that sounds interesting. It is. And dovetails quite nicely with Kevin Hearne's Hounded, which I'm also reading. :)
I just finished The Woman in Black I got the unabridged version from audible. the narrator was absolutely fantastic!(Paul Ansdell). the story was wonderful.
I'm listening to Mark Tufo's Zombie Fallout 2. I finished the first book yesterday and am loving the second one just as much.
I'm listening to Horns by Joe Hill. It is my first audio book so I have nothing to compare it too, but the narrator has kept it interesting so far.
I just started listening to A Clash of Kings today and I'm really not liking the narrator much at all. Being that this is going to be an awful lot of hours of listening due to this book's huge size I'm hoping I can warm up to it a bit more.Otherwise I'll have to resort to changing to the print version.....
I'm enjoying my first ever audio book, Doctor Sleep. Will Patton earning an extra pay check as the narrator!
audible is having a 3.95 hidden gems sale. I got The Hellbound Heart Thirteenth Child and The LineI finished listening to The Reckoning. I love this series!! it's about immortals but they aren't vampires, just immortal.
I am listening to Island of Vice: Theodore Roosevelt's Doomed Quest to Clean up Sin-loving New York. So far it's pretty good.
I'm listening to
. this is book 2 in the series. it's about a zombie, Angel Crawford. the narrator is very good and fits Angel's character perfectly.
Listening to another of the Modern Scholar lecture series, The Medieval World I: Kingdoms, Empires, and War.
Walter wrote: "Listening to another of the Modern Scholar lecture series, The Medieval World I: Kingdoms, Empires, and War."that sounds interesting. I love hearing about the history of the papacy. do you listen to podcast? I could suggest some you may enjoy.
I do listen to a few podcasts, though sort of irregularly. I listen to the Sword and Laser podcasts. So what are your suggestions? :)
Nerds on History podcast, the medieval archives- he did one on medieval diseases and it was so interesting! stuff you missed in history class... I think that's all for now. I don't listen to nerds on history as much as I use to but I still listen to the other 2 when they put out episodes.
Listening to the abominable, Dan Simmons. I'm glad I have listened to this rather than reading, as it made the huge amount of climbing details possible to get through. However have thoroughly enjoyed this.

Eduardo ballerini (sp)? Never heard of him before but he was excellent in book 1 so I held out on book 2 until I could listen to it. Worth the wait.
Thanks for the offer, but I'm good. Matthew is so different now from what he was like back then it would probably only confuse me. That was very nice of you though, it's appreciated!
My niece gave me The Gingerbread Girl on CD for Xmas...and I still haven't listened to it. I almost dont want to start because it will be over. Anyone read or listened to this by Stephen King?
I liked this one a lot. I was very delighted when it's revealed who the monster is. but the story is sad and really emotional. I gave it 4 stars.
I really enjoy listening to Stephen King novels, and it's fun because I have something to look forward to on long car rides or road trips. A few months ago, I listened to Doctor Sleep and the narration by Will Patton was amazingly well done. I'm currently making my way through 11/22/63.
