I'm new to Audiobooks - here's what I've heard and listened to so farSo far my favorite have been Jim Dale's Harry Potter - magic
For audible original Treasure Island: An Audible Original Drama this was surprisingly fun and I recommened.
I recommend skipping Aliens 3, which I was initially excited about.
Flowertown - not really recommended
NOS4A2 is well done by Kate
It was a well made audio and very highly recommended.
I love Agatha Christie but can't highly recommend And Then There Were None or Murder on the Orient Express -- reading both of those versus audio is so much better IMO
Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah is fantastic
Invisible Man I'm working on with the side but the narration is incredible
I just put a bunch on hold with the Libby app. All you need is a library card....it’s that simple and free..kind of...your tax dollars at work...for something good..for a change..........read on.

To me, better than Overdrive, and related to your library. Free, of course.
i just finished And the Trees Crept In
omg it was so so so so good. 5 stars all the way from me! and now i'm listening to
Calling Back the Deadand it's pretty good so far too.
Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* wrote: "Right now I'm working on Blackwater: The Complete Saga"That's one of my favorite books/audios. I hope you enjoy it, Erin!
I'm closing in on the finish of
charI know I am late on this but I am hooked on Don winslow.
did The Cartel and The Force just finished The Winter of Frankie Machine enjoyed them all but liked the last the best

OMG Aren't they the best?? I haven't read Frankie Machine yet, but I plan to. Are you going to continue the trilogy and read the last book, The Border? I also read The Force and enjoyed that one as well.
Philip wrote: "Just finished The Traveling Vampire Show by Richard Laymon. Did not like it at all."LMAO This cracked me up because I didn't care for it much either, to be honest.
I just finished listening to Assassin's Code by Jonathan Maberry, performed by the GREAT Ray Porter. I'm playing Halloween Bingo at another site, and it requires a YA read. I don't do much YA, so I'm re-reading, (or re-listening) to Coraline by Neil Gaiman.
I think I am going for another stand alone by Winslow. the Cartel was brutal many scenes made me uncomfortable and I am not squimish. Talked to an FBI friend stationed in Mexico at the time he said Winslow was spot on
BTW Char I think you will love Frankie Machine some of the referances to The Godfather are so funny as were the anecdotes in The Force. wish I could be more active I miss all my friends on Goodreads but have alot going on right now
Michael wrote: "I think I am going for another stand alone by Winslow. the Cartel was brutal many scenes made me uncomfortable and I am not squimish. Talked to an FBI friend stationed in Mexico at the time he said..."Winslow is freaking AMAZING. The research he does is beyond approach. Knowing that, it makes his books even scarier even though they're not horror.
I will definitely read Frankie Machine at some point.
Recently finished 2001: A Space Odyssey on audio. I read it ages ago and decided to try the audio. Worked pretty well and the HAL voice was close to the classic voice from the movie. Started Call the Midwife, my wife and I love the show and this audio has been very good so far.
I just finished
it's amazing! I am deciding on what I will read next. This is always the hardest part.
Cursor's Fury Book 3 of the Codex Alera series. It is in this entry that Butcher really comes into the type of form that we Dresden fans expect from him.
Latasha wrote: "My sister & I love call the midwife! I had the book but she borrowed it & that was that.."We love the show as well. It was interesting to see some of the differences between the book and show.
Last Days by Brian Evenson. This is a lot weirder than I had expected but just as good as I was hoping it would be.
I am listening to The Suicide Motor Club read by Christopher Beuhlman (the Author). If you haven't read any of his books, you need to fix that right away.
Chris wrote: "I am listening to The Suicide Motor Club read by Christopher Beuhlman (the Author). If you haven't read any of his books, you need to fix that right away."Buehlman is one of my all time favorites! (He is making his fantasy debut with THE BLACKTONGUE THIEF coming from TOR in spring of 2021.) It's a longer wait than I would like, but at least we know something new is coming from him.
I just finished an extreme horror.Red. It was incredible. Even though I had read it before, this narrator nailed it. Made it extra creepy. I absolutely loved it. Red by Dj Doyle was brilliant
I just finished the audio book of The Last Dog on Earth. Loved it!The Last Dog on Earth Lineker's voice was priceless.
I also wrote a ridic long book review: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-re...
