Listening to
by Charlaine Harris. Not real big on vampire type books but the narrator is awesome and I am actually enjoying the story line.

Currently listening to Paradox Bound by Peter Clines & Beyond Eternity by Caitlin Doughty, loving them both 😍
just finished Deathwish and currently listening to Lightning and (just started) Jumping Off the Planet
Well, if anyone is interested in a brand new horror audiobook, I have just published the audio version of "Once Bitten, Twice Die", just in time for Halloween.
Once Bitten, Twice Die
It's available on Amazon, itunes and Audible.
If anyone is interested I can send you the first three chapters as a sample, let me know...
Best wishes,
Antony J. Stanton
Just finished listening to The Call of Cthulhu narrated by Wayne June, in his awesome low voice. Now, I'm listening to The Haunting of Hill House. Loving it so far!
so, I finished the Dingiliad ( Jumping Off the Planet\ Bouncing Off the Moon \ Leaping to the Stars) (omnibus The Far Side Of The Sky)
now I think I'll start on The Halloween Tree
Finished Paradox Bound by Peter Clines (recommend!), finally finished listening to The House by the Sea by Ambrose Isben (do no recommend), and halfway through Beyond Eternity by Caitlin Doughty. I also just downloaded Burntown by Jennifer McMahon. I have a short attention span and tend to bounce around between audiobooks & books, meaning I usually have a few going at a time.

I enjoyed The Halloween Tree, if it's the one narrated by Bronson Pinchot. I hope you enjoy it too!

I'm listening to a lot of Die drei ??? audio dramas at the moment. Die drei ??? is the German version of The Three Investigators (presented by Alfred Hitchcock). The American and English audience should know the series as mystery & detective fiction aimed at a YA audience, but the German offshoot is ever popular even amongst adults and new adventures (still with the original main cast) are still produced on a regular basis.
I've finished listening to
which was excellent on audio and a very disturbing story. Now, I need to see the movie.Today I'm starting
.Btw,
ended up being the BEST AUDIO I've ever listened to. Period. I can't recommend it enough!
just last night started listening to Forever, listening to Wildside w/my friend Lisa, Six of Crows in my office with Tina and trying to "get into" Bronson Pinchot's reading of The Halloween Tree, but having a hard time with it. Finished Peter & Max: A Fables Novel w/Tina Monday at work and Blind Waves for myself Monday night then The Martian Child: A Novel About A Single Father Adopting A Son last night. It kinda reminds me of something that happened w/a foster child named Jerry, so I got out my photo albums to look at his pics and the most EERIE FUXING thing ... all my photos of Jerry, even if it was a group pic, he's all faded and colorless/transparent.
Our library had The Deal of a Lifetime on audio. I couldn't believe it! It's only one disc, so I know it's short. It's written by Fredrik Backman, so I'm pretty sure I'll like it. I can't wait!
Susan wrote: "just last night started listening to Forever, listening to Wildside w/my friend Lisa, Six of Crows in my office with Tina and trying to "get into" Brons..."Welll that's creepy. The book I'm reading now is about spectral photography.
Sort of. ;)

Jerry? faded to nearly transparent. EERIE as hell. Even Toby, who killed himself at 17 looks like the original photos, but Jerry is ghosted.
I've been listening a lot to the German audio drama series Gruselkabinett lately. It features audio drama adaptations of classic horror, mystery/crime and sci-fi stories. As far as I know, it doesen't get more modern and recent than Shirley Jackson and H. P. Lovecraft:
The audio plays are mostly faithful to the original material, with some minor changes.

I'm listening to episode 21 of Gruselkabinett which is an adaptation of a story by one Per McGraup:
It features the voice of Marianne Wischmann who voiced Miss Piggy as well as Raquel Ochmonek of ALF fame for the German audiences. As a nice gimmick, the episode also features an inside joke reference to ALF.

Just got done with these booksCarrie by Stephen King I listen to the audio book from SIssy Spacek I read the book before but i though i would give it another go at it Its still one my favs
I'm almost done listening to City of the Dead, which is the sequel to The Rising. It's pretty good!I listened to You by Caroline Kepnes at the beginning of this year and it blew me away!
I have the next book by her: Hidden Bodies and will be starting it later today.
Since The Terror just won the poll for Feb. group listen, and it is one long book (28 hours of audio!), I'm getting started on it now. I wish I was good at listening to audio books while I do other things! D: If I get too focused on what I'm working on, I end up missing what is being said.
Sadie When She Died by Ed McBainThe narrator is not very good but at least the audio is included with Kindle Unlimited.
I haven't listened to anything since finishing The Tommyknockers but i'll be starting The Girls sometime next week.
Finally removed the newbie status for me and audiobooks. Had a long road trip this weekend and busted out an audiobook version of a read thats been on my TBR pile since the dawn of time. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Classic literature and I have had a love/hate relationship for quite some time. I want to love literature. Hell, I'd settle for liking it. Unfortunately, most of the time I yawn and struggle through one (yes, I'm looking at you Moby Dick and The Tale of Two Cities) and can not understand for the life of me what makes them revered classics. But, I'm happy to report that Stevenson's tale doesn't suffer from that malady. In fact, I quite enjoyed it!

I do like Dickens though and I also enjoyed The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
I finished listening to a free Audible download on Sunday: West Cork. This was a production put together from a series of Podcasts. I really enjoyed it-it's about the murder of a woman in Ireland, back in 1996. I believe it's still free at Audible right now.I'm about to listen to Deadfall Hotel by Steve Rasnic Tem.

Godspeed! It's a doozie. I liked it but not my fave Stephen King book. Liked both the mini series and the new movie more.
