What Books Are You Listening To?
I started listening to Stephen King's IT last week, and holy cow is Steven Weber ever an awesome narrator. Simply fantastic.

I'm almost finished listening to The Wright Brothers, narrated by the author himself. I am enjoying it. This author has a way of writing non-fiction that makes it sound like fiction. (He also wrote John Adams, which was made into an HBO mini-series.)
I just finished
the reader was great! and
it was good & interesting & inspiring and sad all at the same time. I have no idea what I'm going to listen to next. everything I want to listen to has a hold list!
Michael wrote: "currently listening to
about5 50% in and really enjoying it"I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far, Michael. Can't you just see Peter Dinklage playing Shorty?
I'm about 70% through
, it took a little while for me to get into it but I'm hooked now. Very creepy atmosphere. If I really imagine what it would be like to be the main character, it really freaks me out haha
I've heard great things about that book, Randy! I hope you continue to enjoy it. :)I'm listening to
which is about horror of a different kind.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
A curious question: Is shelving audiobooks one has listened to as "read" considered to be cheating?

I've started Little Girls by Ronald Malfi. This is my first Malfi Novel. I've read a lot good things about his books so I'm hoping for a winner.
I'm listening to InterWorld. I didn't realize it was a YA title when I downloaded it from the library, but I'm enjoying it just the same.
just finished Little Girls gave it 3 stars. It held my interest but I thought it was just so so. I felt it was pretty transparent I figured it out about halfway thru.

I hope not!;)
I loved The Martian! I hope you like it, David. :)I'm starting Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It should be fun. :)

Derek wrote: "I recently discovered Christopher Lee's recording of Edgar Allan Poe. My god, it's perfect."*gasp*!!!

It's a strong start. I'm interested to see how a solitary character carries ten hours of audio. Assuming no one else pops up?
David wrote: "I'm just starting The Martianby Andy Weir."Excellent book , I couldn't help but picture Matt Damon as the title character. Finish it before the movie comes out ! Duct tape can fix just about anything..

Mum's the word. :)
Charlene wrote: "I'm listening to Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The narrator is awesome. :)"I've listened to that as well. I really liked it.

I sort of enjoyed it but found the 'acting' a bit over the top which ruined the story.
