Please please can we have a book of Quinn & Layla....i want them to be a couple who find love together....why not keep blay - who i personally find limp, uninteresting, boring boring.....with saxton....they make a good couple.....i personally think quinn is a bit confused....but if he really thinks about his life...layla would be the most amazing person for him....she is beautiful, kind, understanding and she loves him and does not judge him....PLEASE QUINN LAYLA

Layla is soooooooooo incredibly boring. She has absolutely no spine.But I resepect your choice for Quinn ofcourse. ;)
WHAT...WHAT ABOUT BORING BLAY!!!!! in fact i think layla should give qhuinn a miss....she's far tooooooooo good for him....he has become such a bore too.....all that angst....and all.....so i am now switching "camps" as they say
I'm Team Qhuay. I have a feeling Layla will end up with Xcor.
what makes the v/b and qhuay couples such an obsession with the fans/readers????? Reading the threads on the series, no other of the bdb couples seem to get so much attention....are they perhaps not as interesting or what????
I think it is because we read the BDD novels for all the hot men in it. ;) And then 2 hot men with a forbidden love... I don't know. I have actually tried to read a m/m novel and it was soooo not my thing. But I really like Qhuinn and Blay is cute but tough, I like it. And best friends having a crush on eachother... that just really does it for me. ;)
And because I cannot relate to Layla at all she seems boring to me. She is sweet and all, but because I am definitely not shy and sweet myself, I just don't really like her.
I like the qhuay couple, they are like teens who want to try everything, so they can find who they really are, besides they have not found their true mates yet, so they can "experiment" as much as they want, I do not care. I cannot say the same for v/b, i hate it when Ward throws them constantly in my face, and it seems like their mates just don't care for their "special" relationship. I don't get it...one couple with such issues is OK, but two is too much, so either v/b, or q/b should come to some permanent solution.I like Layla, but she is too good for any one of them. I hope she does not end with one of them, otherwise it will be just like Phury's book- the girl waiting for the boy to "grow up" and make up his mind- no, thank you very much, I already read that once and did not like it.
Okay I am new to this but I will say the Qhay thing is boring me, mainly because it is taking up space that is not really needed. As for Butch and Vishious that us a friendship that happens to be very complex and Butch has let Vishous know that it is not going to happen. I think the way it played out in Payne's book puts an end to the wierdness of B/V... I think she should leave Blay the way he is and Qhinn needs to find his own way whether with Layla or with someone else.
I don't have a problem with male/male relationships. With that said, I can't imagine two burly, muscular guys with 5:00 shadows making out and grinding. Just a little too much testosterone for me to think it's sexy.I know this is probably unpopular, but I couldn't finish John's book after Blay went to Saxton. And, I just couldn't wrap my head around the who Xhex/John thing.
wow...some fans who feel the same as I do about the whole q/b and v/b story....enough of the v/b....let butch be with his real love...vishous get his own life together...either stay with jane (i really feel for her...not only a ghost but her man lusts/yearns for not a woman but a MAN!!!), or leave jane and find another male who will give him all he wants - sex/love,etc.Now for qhuinn...here is another thought.....fans were not really into how the v/b story was going...who knows...she probably was testing us readers!!!!..a man who loves a woman being pursued by a man...just didn't 'gel'...so what does she do next?????from us meeting this gorgeous alpha male...suddenly does a u turn....and hey...he's just bonking women but wants to do it with blay??? where and when did this 'curve' begin!!!! and now...presto she is going to write a novella on the two....i'm sorry i cannot see two macho men getting it on..it does nothing for me...can we see qhuinn and blay dancing together at their 'mating'....the series seems to be turning into some different from what I began reading....alpha males who find their shellan....and now not 1 but 2 "gay" couples - I would defintely read a book on
Qhuinn but not if it's his story with blay or another man....i am sure that I will also be unpopular with my views - i do not mean to insult other viewpoints but that's the day it is!!!for me
I have no issue with the men like I said but I feel that it goes against what the stories are about. Now I love Saxton and the places he could go in this story. the same with Blaylock. I just think the Qhinn/Blaylock thing just does not work with me. Then you throw in the Layla aspect and you just loose me. Now there is kinky then there is just plain weird. That is just my opinion on this part of the subject but I do love these book.

I think that it would be a shame to waste such a character with only a novella and not a full love story. i don't want a qhuay book....god the thought of simpering blay and a who has become a total twit qhuin having 500 pages of them would really be a mindblow for me....i have become so bored with them that i no longer care what the hell happens to both of them......let's move on to much more interesting characters I say
Alex to be honest I dont think it will be a book, a novella but not a book.
Ward announces at her signing on Sunday who's book is next. I think it's going to be Qhuay after what happens in Lover Reborn and the last chapter of the last line from Qhuinn.
In another thread the Quay book was mentioned and if she did do it which would make it M/M that would put it in the Erotica Genre
I am halfway through Lover Reborn, so I don't know if anything happens in the Qhuinn/Blay/Layla/Xcor/Throe department (not all together ofcourse, that would be one mean orgy ;) ).But I am sooooo hoping for a Qhuinn/Blay book/novella. And I don't know what will happen to Lassiter in Lover Reborn, but I am hoping he will get a book, and soon. I love him. :)

OK - my 2 cents on the whole Blay/Qhuinn thing. Giving them an HEA would neither make the book erotica nor not pnr. It would be non-traditional, but unless she writes the book as erotica, the fact that it would be M/M alone would not qualify it as erotica. And romance is romance, regardless of the gender/sex of the protags. So, yeah, a Blay/Qhuinn HEA would still be pnr.

Whether we like it or not that is the state of the publishing world. If she writes it I will read it I will read it.
Isn't her series semi-erotica anyway. It can be pretty graphic. Not to mention that penises can be used as divining rods. Until this series...I had no idea they did that. LOL
LMAO I know huh... I think not it is still just PNR... I have been doing some research since another lady in another thread mentioned it. This lady is also a writer so I look it up she was right. Another thing I found interesting is it may also depend on the her contract as well...
I don't understand why would Qhuay be erotic just because it's and M/M romance. Many of the love scenes between the straight couples are borderline erotic. Rhage and Mary's book was steaming hot and how can we forget Wrath's love of peaches? ;)

It has not been my experience that if the protags were same sex that the book ended up in the erotica section. I can see how that could easily happen and that my experience can be different from others'.
Spoilers...At Ward's signing today she said the next book with be Qhuay next March 2013, in hardcover and no Layla and Qhuay threesome! And Layla is indeed pregnant with Qhuinn's seed

Alex, if Ward was going to lose fans it would be over V and Phury's books (seriously I could not wait for them to end) . In truth maybe some fans will just skip the next one and pick up on book 12, but I think they would be missing out, it's not really about a gay thing, it's about 2 people who love each other, to deny it and put Q and L together would be a cop out.

Quay book summary: Quin and Blay take 700 pages to man up to each other about what they want and how they feel...and a side story about Murder...who takes over the band of brothers...cause that is how he rolls. Layla is going to get the shaft ( no pun intended) unless she convinces Xcor of his bad ways...but I would not mind seeing her with Throe...who likes her (did anyone else pick that up?). Just a guess. We should start taking bets on subplots. Anyone?

Sounds great! I would like to see Layla with Throe as well. Xcor is not my favorite person (come to think about it neither is Layla, perhaps they deserve eachother ;) ).What I totally love in a book is that the main characters already love each other in the beginning of the book and a lot of stuff happens to keep the story going (other than the 2 main characters being mad at each other or deciding they do not love eachother). And Muhrder as the new Band of Bastards leader...hmmmm... I thought Muhrder was going to be evil.. and the Band of Bastards are not really evil. I think they should join the brothers soon, so that we can have more BDB books. :)

Qhuinn and Layla aren't in love with one another. They're just good friends. Layla now has two other man hot for her.

I agree with you on not being a Layla fan....but I would rather her be with Xcor than Throe. Xcor seems to really have a connection to her. I think she'll make him change sides and fight with the brothers instead of against.
I also agree that I love the fact that Qhuinn and Blay are already in love with each other. What is standing in the way now is Qhuinn. He is the only one standing in his way to happiness....even Saxton knows he is only temporary until Qhuinn gets his act together.
Since Qhuinn and Blay are already in love....I think the next book is going to build a lot of plot. I think things will come to a head with Xcor, with him turning away from the bastards. I agree about Murhder taking over as the leader. I am hoping that one by one each bastard will join with the brothers so we can get some more BDB books. Well at least Throe and Zypher....the 3 cousins didn't really have any page time.
I was being a bit sarcastic about Layla, Katie ;')...she's not a particular favorite of mine and I didn't want any of the "brothers" to end up with her...not too keen on this thing with Qhuinn and her..but thats probs the only way for him to make his vision come true, as it looks like he and Blay are destined to be together. Layla's going to have to grow some backbone if she's going to be with Xcor...although I'm finding that whole thing hard to imagine...

What on Earth is going to be the outcome with her and Qhuinn?...his destiny is with Blay! I know his vision showed him a little girl with his unusual eyes and he needs a female to achieve this...but Layla? Who will play daddy and what will Xcor do when he finds out?...mmmm the plot thickens!! LOL
The subplots are more important to me in this book. I hope this is not Phury's book for me not a "Qhuay" fan but I will not miss the book. Oh and I happen to see Layla growing as a character. So bring on Muhder, BOB, and more Sympaths...
Oh I love the thought of Qhuinn and Blay, I was even disappointed when Blay partnered up with Saxton..there again it woke Qhuinn up with a jolt haha..I really can't see Layla becoming a strong character at all..could be wrong though. The B.o.B are confusing for me, I wanted them to become involved with the brothers' but what they did was unforgivable, Wrath cannot overlook their threat...can't wait!!!

No, Qhuinn had a vision of a little girl with his unusual eyes and he knew he had to take the chance with Layla at that time I just can't envision a happy ending to this situation and I love Qhuinn's character...want so much for him to be happy..I didn't like the way it turned out for Tohr after a tremendous build up...same with John Matthew!
I personaly think Layla and Xcor will make a more intersting story then Qhuinn and Layla. But I kinda like Xcor, even though he tried to kill Warth. (that bastered!!!)
I think everything will turn out OK. Layla and Qhuinn have a huge support system- all of the Chosen and Brothers and Shellans and Doggens and whoever will be there loving that little girl and making sure she grows up OK. It isn't like she is Amber from Teen Mom. I may be prejudiced though because I love Xcor, I love Xcor and Layla as a couple, and I am seriously on fire to read their book.

I have such a pervy mind, but aren't the BOB crew into sharing women together? What if Layle, that lucky woman has a little something something with both Throe and Xcor at the same time?
