I am with u I like Quinn an Blay but Layla :SS sometimes I wanna hit her with something ( she is too soft and have no character but to be the damn chosen ) but I also like the idea of her and Xcor I like him I think he deserved to be loved by some fragile lady after all that bloodletter crap ...
I can't wait to read the next book what is going to happen with them ... I wish they will get together , I'll will never forgive Ward if they ended up apart :S

I agree with you, Acquinnette. Layla is changing... I do like her more now, but she is still not my favorite character. I don't know, she just doesn't seem to have any backbone. She just goes with the flow.
well layla's preggers so idk how well that would go over with xcor it they were to end up together. but a story about her and quinn wouldnt be very interesting. Interested to read about quinn and blay, though a little hesitant. and what will happen to saxton, he really is a good guy, so understanding and accepting.i am just feeling unhappy endings all around. J.R Ward doesnt reall do unhappy endings though... so this will either be really good or really bad.
and how do you pronounce Xcor anyway? (and Xhex too)
oh man i don't want layla with xcor/.//// why can't she have a fab guy for a change????? first she goes through the ss.....with qhuinn...now she has to go thru xcor's baggage...get together with throe i say......i love that guy.....enough of rough and tough super duper alpha males ....just for once can't she find hea with a man with class, style who will fall in love with her...and not because he is going to get her to wear clothes from a bygone era....yuck...imagine getting it together with a brute like xcor...she deserves better...i don't care if xcor redeems himself....i just do not engage with this guy.....he's ugly both outside and inside....
Okay I will start with the names Xhex (Zex), and Xcor (Score)... Now as for the Layla, Qhuinn, Blay thing it is going to be complicates and things can play out several ways. The one I am hoping for is not going to happen because I want Saxton and Blay to stay together. I think Qhuinn needs to grow more I see him alot like Layla. Not much there but fluff and stupidity, but people think his is awesome...
Maybe Sax can recover in Lassiter's arm? They can watch classic romance and Jerry Springer marathons.

omg...there will be a riot at next year's book signing of THE QHUAY book if Ward does not give us their hea..imagine this....qhuinn does blay but discovers that no...he actually loves layla and their baby...so adieu blay and qhuayla hea....of course it's still a qhuay book essentially but the ending...fainting now....oh yes we can have saxton waiting in the wings to enfold blay with his undying love.....okay okay before i get lynched...that's my bit of fanfic

Did Layla actually confirm that she's pregnant? She may not be. If she is, I cannot see her being with anyone else...especially pregnant.

I love Qhuinn, and I too also hope that he and Layla become a couple. But I think tha Xcor will be a problem. Maybe she will be drawn to Xcor, he will become an arse, and then maybe Qhuinn will have to rescue her. But I don't know, in the ending of this book, Qhuinn said that it was their (he and Blay's) time now. (or something like that)I really don't know how I feel about the whole Blay/Qhuinn thing. Sometimes I feel like Ward felt the need to make a Brother gay just to be "politically correct" and it all just doesn't fit. But then sometimes I just love the story between them. Hmmm, I always thought to pronounce Xhex as Zeee (sounds a lot better to me than Zex, which is just... weird :) ). And Xcor is Zor in my mind.

For some reason, I really love Layla and Xcor as a couple. I am going to be really bummed out if it is anyone else. I really think that they make sense together and I would be bummed out if it turns out to be someone different. Xcor was feeling very murderous about anyone else touching her, which is usually a sign he is preparing to bond hardcore!In fact (major nerd alert) I was listening to my ipod the other day and the Simon and Garfunkle verion of the song "Peggy-O" came one, and the lyrics that start the song "The captain fell in love with a lady like a dove..." and I thought about Xcor and Layla lol.

Just a question for you all. How many times did you read the BDB books?My husband thinks I am crazy for reading all of my books over and over and over and over. Some books just get better and better when reading them again. :)
I think I have read the whole series 3 times and my favorite ones (Lover Awakened, Lover Mine, Loves Unleashed) even more.

I think that I have actually purchased 3 copies of Lover Awakened because I kept wearing them out and losing them if that gives you an idea... I read on my nook now so that my husband can't razz me on frequent rereads.
I've read the first 5 three times each and the remaining only once.Back to Layla and Quinn...I realize that it was a "needing" issue, but wasn't Layla a virgin? Usually, Ward writes that in as an honor for the brothers. I felt bad for Layla. I mean, I realize she's not going to get an HEA with Quinn, but at least give her some respect that way.

I have quit counting on the rereads with the exception of lover reborn it has been twice so far...
i also quit counting my rereads....i keep going back to them over and over again...in fact I am starting on DL again tonite....re: layla/qhuinn......see.....if layla is a virgin and qhuinn has been her first lover.....she has to be WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL HOPING STILL PRAYING
I haven't reread any of them. Only because my tbr list is sooo long. I would love to read Lover Eternal again though. Um Alex..sorry honey ain't gonna happen but maybe you'll change your mind when you read the next book. Never know!
It is ultimately a love story. No matter the gender. There’s definitely a connection between Qhuinn and Blay. I feel my heart break for Blay, every time. Wouldn’t that be love? Just take it as a story of two individuals; one of them dealing with betrayal (from Q of course) and one trying to win him back. As for Layla, I agree she looks good with Xcor- the misunderstood bad boy and the naïve but not so innocent girl. I’m just glad Ward will take the risk for Qhuay. Even if she loses some fans, she’ll definitely gain new ones by attempting this.
I'm very excited for Blay and Qhuinn. I'm generally not big on the whole m/m thing, but I've been reading out these guys since the begining....so i'm very excited

A girl can change her mind.
Yea i don't have a problem with it, just not something I read. But I do know that Blay and Qhuinns kiss was HOT, i'm ready for more!
