Rhode looked slightly uncomfortable and sat down in the nearest armchair.

'I won't like to bore you telling the same thing again.Past is past,I will move on' Swaroop said and sat beside Rhode. 'Any simple new hot girl out here ?' Swaroop said and laughed.

Penn tiredly walks into the common room with her heavy ass messenger bag in tow, silently cursing the Professors for assigning so much work. Flopping herself into one of the common room's old comfy chairs, she lets the bag hit the floor with a satisfying thunk. Crossing her legs under herself, she takes out the first torture act. History of Magic essay. Great. She glared at the assignment, hoping it would catch on fire and muttered grouchily "Bloody History of Magic, you will be the death of me." Sigh. Might as well get started. Hopefully Gwen will come and save me.

Chilton looked over at Penn, who seemed to be struggling with her homework "need some help?" he asked

Taking a break from her glaring, Penn looks up distractedly to the voice, only to find a familiar looking Gryffindor. "Chilton right?" She smiles at him slightly. "Thanks, but I don't think I could focus." She said as she laughed. "So I think your efforts would be lost."

Rhode noticed a girl come in and flop onto one of the chairs to do homework. Noticing the title, he grimaced "History of Magic. Worst subject ever."

Penn flashes her signature smirk at the boy. "Truer words have never been spoken darling." she said in a dreamy voice, fingering the corner of the assignment. Stretching out her legs from under herself, she decides it's pointless to even try to concentrate at the moment. Her head is too high in the clouds with her broomstick. After standing and shuffling the papers inside her bag, she turns back to face to boy with the words of wisdom. "I'm Penn." she says lightly, with an open handshake.

"Rhode." He returns the handshake. "Hey, what year are you?"

Returning her arm to her side, Penn smiles pleasantly. "Nice to meet you. 5th year actually, forever studying for O.W.L.s and killing social lives." she says will a grimace, giving Rhode a sideways glance of curiosity. "Yourself?"

Chilton nodded and sat down with his book

"6th." He laughed slightly and sat on the edge of a nearby armchair.

Penn smiled just a little, crossing her arms over her chest. "Upperclassmen huh? Hope it doesn't make you look bad talking to a mere 5th year, such as myself." she said leaning back against an armchair.

Chilton finished his book. He went to the dorms and came out with a thicker one

'Hi Penn.. I'm Swaroop,nice to meet you. Being a 5th year you should not be studying so much, you can better catch some juniors and get all your assignments done' Swaroop said and laughed.

Ali walked in and introduced herself.

"Yeah! Go get some 4th years to do it." He smirked in the direction of a group of 4th years with their noses buried in thick books across the room.

Letting her eyes shift over to the 4th years, Penn shakes her head with disapproval. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." her voice drops to a low whisper. "Those 4th years...They bite back." She nods slightly over to them, with wide eyes for dramatic affect.

He snorted. "Yeah, I'm sure." Looking over at Chilton, he smiled. "What do you think? Think they'll say no?" He nodded in the direction of the 4th years.

Eve walked in to put her books down in the girls dorm.

Emleon had left to go grab some things from the library when the others were talking. she walked back through the portal with some books in her arms, a tall stack of them. she walked in and tripped on a carpet, falling and scattering her books everywhere.

A loud crash and clatter sounded from behind Rhode. Turning he saw Emleon sprawled on the floor, books scattered about the floor. 'Are you okay?" He asked, moving forward to help.

"y-yeah, im fine" she said, not seeing the blood dripping down her skinned knee as she started to pick up her books.

Chilton bent down and started helping her pick up her books

Kate walked into the warmth of the common room, Shane's jacket still wrapped around her body. ''Dry land!'' she exclaimed jokingly, turning to face him.

"Better yet, miss Kate: Fire!" he said smiling, and walking over to the couch and plopping down. "Think we'll get into trouble for missing class?"

''I doubt it, we could just say we're studying..'' she smiled, warming her hands on the glowing fire. She loosened her jacket around her shoulders and she crashed down on the same couch Shane did.
